I don't speak for him, but personally although they do look better than the Oblivion races, the designs in Oblivion were so bad that they set a very low bar for greatness.ShatteredBlack said:Cynical, much?

These pictures make the races look better, but not great by any strecth. The only ones I persoanlly think look good are the Argonians and Khajiits. It probably won't matter in the end because if the character customisation is good then we'll be able to make them look good ourselves (which was very difficult in Oblivion).
Also, I don't know about you but those environments looks really bland and dull, it's too dark and doesn't look pretty at all. Maybe it's just a bad coincidence and maybe there are some really good looking places, but I haven't seen any in all of these videos and pictures.
As for bugginess, the Creation engine is more of an improvement of Gamebryo, and knowing Bethesda it will more than likely still be buggy, less than Gamebryo, but still buggy.

seriously, they all look epic. i will get in an infection-proof bubble, live the next few months of my life in there, not leave the house, intake many vitamins, exercise, purchase this game, play it and then i can die happy. but hopefully 127 years, 364(or 5) (depending on leap year) days and 24:59:59 hours.

They look really cool and all but I'm a little disappointed at the lack of Breton or High Elf pictures. Was kinda hoping to see a crazy mage engulfed in fire and lightning, or something. Am considering playing as one of the beast races for the first time though, they look freakin awesome!

The Argonian's face looks weird, it also blends in perfectly with the stone in the background.

Ok, I'm a HUGE elder scrolls fan (like back to arena, the DOS games even) I love TES, but I have to say, I'm increasingly underwhelmed by the news about skyrim.
list of minor complaints here:
1:They all look so generic and gray, it's painful to me...
2:where are the dunmer's red eyes? I can't see them
3:you wouldn't know these bosmer we even elves, if it weren't for their ears
4this is by far the worst for me) WHERE ARE THE ALTMER?!?!?!
I'm outraged at this discrimination xD lol, jk
but seriously, I think these look nowhere near as good as they could. I wouldn't mind the game being pushed back another YEAR, as long as it doesn't dissapoint. This and the rumors of fallout style XP-based leveling, (rather than their signiture skill-leveling)
