Assholes make other people lulzworthy, and I think you're sick if you love watching people get shot in the head.SteewpidZombie said:They aren't even doing it for lulz anymore, they are just being A$$holes in general. These are the kind of people that I could watch get shot in the head and I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
Yes strong passwords do work. This is all after the fact preventing anyone from accessing the account, In the case of the database getting stolen it wouldnt matter what the password is, but having a strong password will help stop a brute force or another attack on the account itself.Annoying Turd said:Aye and I guess password strength isn't an issue when the password db gets stolen, but I'll create a strong password like *0)l_3+be{|Oa to prevent guesses...JET1971 said:snipWolfy2449 said:snipJET1971 said:snip

Anybody is asking for it if they leave info like that without any protection at all.Nieroshai said:And now for the Bethesda flaming claiming they asked for it and didn't encrypt anything...

Yes, the black hat group that routinely hacks US Government networks hacked into a corporation's gaming network. So owned.Annoying Turd said:Security which was worthless since they got owned anyway.Nieroshai said:Which all RELIABLE sources claim they DID have security.Annoying Turd said:Anybody is asking for it if they leave info like that without any protection at all.Nieroshai said:And now for the Bethesda flaming claiming they asked for it and didn't encrypt anything...

FUCK. THESE. HACKERS.
I hope they get caught: all of them.
The Eldar scrolls official website was a confirmed hack earlier. Bethesda has since gotten it back online.TheMariner said:Now if they were to hack into Elder Scrolls
...They did. They hacked Elderscrolls.com and deleted all of the information on the site to replace it with a bunch of broken images that said '*TOUT*' all over the place.TheMariner said:Strangely enough, I'm not not okay with this. Now if they were to hack into Elder Scrolls or Fallout (not sure what they would get, but I think you get my point) then I'd take issue with it more.
But yeah, I really don't see why they're doing this. If it really is for 'teh lulz' then why do they get their lulz at the expense of others? That simply makes them cyber-bullies. Nothing more, nothing less.
