I am glad you changed your password, I do hope nothing happens to you.Kuilui said:Thank you for the warning. I changed my email and password about 10 to 15 minutes ago. Hope I wasn't to late. I'm fairly certain I'm just done signing up for websites. Since nobody can stop hackers it seems and they can just do as they please. Nothing is safe..
As for nothing is safe from hackers.. thats very true. and what they are doing will most likely get some regulations on the internet. but that wont be a bad thing for us because it would be on the companies storing that information to be required to have a minimum amount of security and much better than what is current. That is a good thing for us consumers.
But really dont be afraid to sign up for websites and buy things online, just be proactive in protecting yourself. dont use the same password, make the password a good one that has at the least 7 characters and a mix of numbers, letters, and symbols. As for CC information use a prepaid card and if thats not possible then after the transaction remove the card from your online account.
