Except for the occasional game freeze, three was never problematic for me. Then again, I had the GoTY Edition.

I haven't had any issues with those games, must be some software hardware related issue which is almost always is in these cases. (cept for Memory leak issues oh lolz)

Windows 7 is not widely support for games, my friend has so much problems with sc2 its just funny.

Meh. I save before every fight in Fallout 3 and Oblivion. New Vegas won't be an issue.

I'll be safe. Unless there are save bugs...

Now, if only I could patch Morrowind on Steam without it being a pain in the ass...THAT game has issue. Can't use the Steam overlay...can't Alt+Tab out without it crashing...
Did you play city of heroes? I have more than the recommended system requirements and creating my characted turns the screen black with only the sliders visible. I can leave it that way for 30 min and it remains that way. It's happened to tons of people. The same thing happens if you alt-tab out of the game.

I'm at work, so I'm trying it later, but we'll just have to see how it goes. A PS3 game has never crashed on me, and I never encountered a bug in Morrowind or Alpha Protocol.

Medal of Honor (XBOX 360) has crashed 12 times so far, but it's a decent game, so I'm dealing.

No problems for me so far, and I never had any issues with Fallout 3. Oddly enough, I do have issues with my copies of Fallout 1 and 2. At least this hasn't quite yet degenerated into a Fallout hate thread...

Just to let you know, people are having saves wiped for no reason.

I can't tell whether the ellipsis was there to show you really did know or not xD

And so did everyone else who knows Obsidian's/Bethesda's track record.

I've been saying this would happen ever since the game was announced.

Honestly, all I can say is "know shit?"

Its an Obsidian game on a Bethesda engine, what else did you expect? A stable game? HAH!

This is why I'm waiting a few months before buying. The community will have fixed the bugs, and have a pretty sizable mod-pool for it.
New Vegas has been fine to me.
Eh, it vary's from person to person. Glad its working for you. I wish everyone was that lucky...
That should cheer you up if you haven't seen it; I know it did me.

Could see it coming a mile off yet everyone seemed to ignore the past. Bethesda are alright on their own, but Obsidian destroy their own games, let alone making it with an already buggy engine.

All I can say is that you do indeed "know shit" about proper grammar usage.

I think it will be fine. The majority of people aren't having serious problems - it's the vocal minority. Having said that, it's very frustrating when games that have such a large chance (like this one seems to have) of going tits up.

I'll stick with fallout 3 for now, it's mods are enough to hold me, that and the FWE mod is so goddamn hard when you screw yourself on the settings that I can't barely get enough ammo on hand to complete the next epic battle. Add in Marts Mutant Mods and turn on all it's options and you've got a recipe to be reamed by a pack of ghouls for god sakes....like...thirty of them, when only five should have spawned....

I didn't know.

Shit. Backup my PS3 saves to my flashdrive. My 1GB flash is good for SOMETHING at least.

so, are you saying it has the typical Bethesda Engine level of glitches, Obsidian level glitches, or bethesda times Obsidian levels of game destroying bugs?

Haha, just as well then. Someone on the PCG site said they lost 3 hours of game time.

When was the last time that obsidion made a game that was without bugs and had a proper storyline? ................................................ The answer to that is never.
They don't have the resources or the programming staff to do what they always promise so why does anywone expect more from them.

This is the 3rd clear example so why are we still putting up with this crap.

I've never been pissed off about bugs in games. I don't like them showing up, but I accept that no work is perfect, as long as they fix it in following patches. I loved Oblivion and Fallout 3, despite their issues. I think they are two of the best games I've played in my life, and I'm looking forward to the European release in two days.

Medal of Honor too was quite buggy, similar to all DICE games before patching. If you can't handle the bugs, wait until the first few patches are released. It's a very simple solution, really. No law demands you play the game immediately after launch if you can't handle the bugs without raging...

Oblivion never crashed on me. It worked perfectly on both the PC and PS3 for me. Same story with Fallout 3.
I guess I'm just lucky with Bethesda.

I stopped playing FO3 after installing the Brotherhood of Steel addon for the PC. Damn thing broke the game to the point that trying to exit the game would require a taskout and then a kill command. Attempting to quit the game gracefully would lock up the PC and necesitate a hard reset.

As soon as i saw that obsidian was doing the sequel, i knew i'd wait a long time until the bugs were ironed out.

Bethesta and Obsidian are the worst developers in history, they leave their games to be finished by moding communities for god sakes.

They make good games but they're often bugging out badly.

Hell Fallout had a bug that was reported to bethesta, what did they do? "Play the game in windowed mode"
