The thing with Twilight is yes vampires are monstrous killers.. but at least they have something of a rational mind, and they're already pretty fetishised..so a romance thingy about them isnt too far fetched, just twilight uber gayed it up
but yeah.. zombies... are not only dead... they cant talk.. they dont have a functioning brain.. they dont have the capacity for emotive expression
how one would get a girlfriend.. fuck knows

i really really hope it doesnt get as popular as twilight
i mean, i never thought i'd actually be defending twilight as having a better concept over a zombie film or any film for that matter.. but fuck sake /end of rant

So, when do we get a poor mutated goblin falling in love with Kristen Stewart? It has to be coming, at this rate...

Well at least the Skins guy got a new gig even if it's pretty horrid, and as much as I hate these pustulent Dawson's creek movies there are those who enjoy this whole drama porn.

But if I'm ever dragged into one of these again I swear people will get shanked.

You can't characterise a zombie
What about that zombie in dawn of the dead? The one that Rhodes tell to "choke on 'em" or something like that.

Why does this exist? I mean, really. What. The. Hell. At least vampires aren't mindless decaying corpses that happen to eat people. In concept, this is even worse than Twilight. That's REALLY saying something. It's outright necrophilia, by definition of a zombie being a reanimated corpse. With vampires, it's kind of grey, though it's still pushing it. But zombies? There's no grey. It's just necrophilia, with no room for argument. Also, a zombie being a boyfriend is even more stupid than a vampire boyfriend. At least a vampire retains some sense, while a zombie is supposed to be completely mindless. Who though this was a good idea? I'm tired of this. It's ridiculous.

God dammit. Now I'm saying Twilight's actually better than something. I might be going insane from the sheer stupidity of this movie.

Vampire love could arguably be necrophilia but there is no argument with Zombies. Zombies are dead and that woman is a Necrophiliac. Seems strange that this could be embraced by the wider culture. Oh well. Different strokes and what not.

The sad thing is that this will probably be just as successful as Twilight.

okay, I've done some research, and at the very least it doesn't SOUND as bad as twilight (i guess). Apparently, zombies are still zombies, they eat people, and the zombie apocalypse has still occurred. from the book at least, zombies eat brains to get high off the memories (or something), the zombie in the book eats some guys brain, and gets high of his love for his girlfriend. Zombie saves girl from rest of zombies, but she books it back to town cause she's not a necrophiliac, but the zombie follows her like a stalker. After that i don't know.
That mitigates the rage a bit, as long as zombies are still zombies and not some saccharine sugar version. I am fine with romances, and some of the mangas I read are even romance ones involving zombies (like Sankarea) but what twilight(not the pony) did to vampires and werewolves just...you can't look at them the same again :/

This is my reaction entirely. I also love that damn gif so damn much!

Seriously, i knew Twilight sucked.... but i didn't realize it sucked so badly that it created a bad vacuum which managed to suck in Zombies as well. I am much sad.

Alright, THAT'S IT. Once this glorification of necrophilia hits the theatres, if ANYBODY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD goes on record again saying something to the effect of "Video games corrupt and pervert our children" I will send them A MOTHERFUCKING BOMB. With this movie's cover picture taped to it.

I heard about this a while ago, my first reaction was that it was some kind of parody, or that it would be at least somewhat humorous, but looking at it more closely, it doesn't look that way o_O

Honestly, I this has potential to be so bad it's good. Vampires have always been sexy, and werewolves are to some extent about a more primal, animalistic side of humanity, so on some level it does kind of make sense to re-imagine it as a schlocky teen romance. Zombies however, despite being almost as bankable as vampires, have absolutely zero sex-value. My guess though, is that whoever decided that this movie should be made, wasn't aware of that, and ordered this movie solely based on the numbers of what sells. Meaning, this is probably headed for a spectacular train wreck!

Funny how something bad looks better in comparison with something worse.

Next teenage romance will be about fictional avatars, and how they can be brought into our physical world. Follows the story about a lone "geeky" girl who long dreamed about the perfect guy. (important part of plot not yet thought out) ...and she would do anything to give him equal rights as human begins, for they are in love.

That's actually a great idea! I'll head to Hollywood/Indiwood at once!

KILL IT WITH FIRE.

Why on earth do they keep making this crap. Seriously. ZOMBIES ARE MINDLESS CREATURES. Either consumed with rage due to monkey viruses, mostly brain-dead due to being dead but reanimated by science/magic or horribly mutated and no longer capable of rational human thought.
