Nah. If Blizzard's history shows us anything, it's that they perform better when under pressure from robust competition. And delivering a DOA title can be the kiss of death for even healthy studios. It's not often they spend a lot of time "learning from it". They often just get dissolved or acquired. I mean... the original Borderlands was -and is- one of my GOAT games. But since then, Gearbox has been shitting out downright awful and/or completely broken games. I kinda feel like if they take this kick in the nuts, maybe they'll learn something from the experience and make better games in the future.
Hopefully Battleborn got enough momentum during its pre Overwatch months to at least recoup all its production costs and properly fund the next project.
