Canada!
Or maybe Jamaica.
Canada is nice...except when they tip. They're notoriously cheap.
I'm Canadian and I always tip the accepted 15%
I was raised thinking 15% was the minimum for really crappy service. I typically tip 20-25%. But I've had friends that waited tables and said Canadians often tipped only 5%. Hence the joke: what's the difference between a Canadian and a canoe? The Canadian won't tip. (not my words, I'm just quoting friends who learned that joke at their jobs).
I guess it's just a cultural thing lol. Here 15% is just... what you tip. Also most waiter/waitresses make more than minimum wage, so they're earning a flat salary on top of all the money they get. My aunt was a waitress in the 80s (in Canada) and she pulled in about $300 dollars in tips a night PLUS her base pay during the huge recession in the 80s.

From my limited experience, I would have to agree with the people saying Italy. I went to a restaurant in Italy wearing a Juventus shirt, and the waiters sat my family at a table then brought over a whole other table just for me! Don't remember meeting one unpleasant Italian.

Take a holiday in Ireland guys, we are famed for our hospitality!

[small]P.S. it's totally NOT because we mercilessly exploit Americans with our tourist trade... I swear...[/small]

Jamaica and Ireland seems like nice places. Especially Jamaica.
don't go to Ireland most of us are genuinely racist but it's mainly the Spanish who come over in their thousands to one of the wettest countries in the world for the summer!!! but at least the women are hot which is always nice.

China and America. If you are just asking about nicest people then it would be those two countries, I was made to feel really welcome and everyone I met was just generally really nice.

Canadians have probably the nicest looking country. The nicest country in terms of personality of the people are either Ireland or Portugal. And Im British just so you dont think Im being biased.

I haven't actually been there yet (plan to) but I'd say Canada, just seem like nice people overall who can take jokes, and aren't overly critical of others. A place I have been that had nice people though, was Jamaica, all seemed really cool and mellow wherever I went. Probably the weed uh? But still, I haven't seen much of the world yet so I'm probably not a good judge, but I plan on traveling when I get older.

Hmmm I would say some where in Africa, in those clips you see everyone is all dancing and happy and playing. Although the poor countries that are cursed with famine and disease I think that kinda make you not want to go to those places, maybe South Africa is as nice as the rest or somewhere around that area.

Antarctica, as long as you don't mind bears.
That's the North Pole. South Pole is Antarctica and I don't trust the penguins. They overdress all the time and that Penguin World game unsettles me.

As has been said: Antarctica. The people there are happy to meet new people as long as you're willing to put in some work.
