Honestly I'm glad Zelda is the only big 1st-party launch game alongside a mix of smaller stuff like Bomberman and the Skyrim/Isaac ports, especially considering how long it looks to be. I'd rather get a big game every month or two than get a big chunk all at once as it helps ensure we don't fall into a slump of waiting half a year or more for the next big thing like we've been with Zelda, and if gamestop being sold out of preorders is any indication, it seems to be working as a launch strategy.

At Least ?40-50 for last gen Skyrim, Arms and Bomberman that should be a ?10 downloadable arcade game.
TBF, Bomerman's price is due to Konami. And they kinda had an attitude of "you better buy it or he's going away forever."

It's called artifical demand my friend. Nintendo are king of fake demand. I would love to know exactly HOW many have been pre-ordered.
Also, I remember the same thing happened to the Wii U, pre order numbers don't really mean anything if the delivered product sucks because people will quickly stop buying it.

Not that I don't love my Wii U, I do but many people didn't like it all. Also, it took me a year to buy one.

Honesty I really don't know how anyone can defend Nintendo. Never has a company had such contempt for the consumer. Lets look at the fact shall we, not speculation but facts.

1) Only Zleda worth buying at launch, once you have that then what for several months.
and Binding of Isaac, and I am Setsuna, but I guess those aren't big AAA games so they don't count in your eyes then Mario kart comes out about 1 month after so that's not "several months" (also this one is opinion not fact)

2) At Least ?40-50 for last gen Skyrim, Arms and Bomberman that should be a ?10 downloadable arcade game. (Nintendo are you stuck in 1997 where you sold N64 games for ?60? this is 2017 that shit will not fly!)
Arms is clearly trying to be Nintendo's new AAA series (and if you honestly think they showed all the content the game has during the presentation I have a bridge to sell you) and Bomberman is Konami, ***** at them about the price

2) No Netflix (Yeah yeah not big deal I hear you say Its a game system first and foremost, but FFS how hard is it to port fucking Netflix or amazon on a switch it might be convenient for some people to take on the go, its a nice added extra that takes no fucking effort at all but no not Nintendo they love shitting on their consumers whilst they lap it up.
so I guess it's nintendo's fault that Netflix hasn't confirmed they will have an app ready for the Switch at launch? Man you are just looking for reasons to hate nintendo aren't you

3) One downloadable ROM file for snes/nes every month for a paid online service. Even Sony and Microsoft do a hell of a lot better than this. They are not perfect but at least you get some AAA games and you cam KEEP them while subscribed.

4) Hiding specs...why? this is purposely done to con your customers as you know it would piss a lot of people of to reveal its an under clocked android Nvidia micro console that retails at ?150 elsewhere.
I'll give you these, these are bullshit

5) No third party support, all Nintendo fanboys say they dont need this, but thats what killed the WiiU. If Nintendo were making quality games after quality game it wouldn't be a problem but they make three or four good games and thats about it, it needs third party support but it wont get it.

(source: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-01-16-nintendo-switch-games-confirmed-games-list-launch-titles )

I expect most of these won't count in your eyes because they aren't big AAA games

it's also important to keep in mind that most of the games for this thing have not been announced yet (I think it's probably safe to expect a new Monster Hunter, which as I said in your previous thread is all it needs in Japan)

People need to wake up too reality, the old saying goes, if it looks like shit, smells like shit you dont need a scientist to tell you its shit. This isnt trolling but seriously look at facts and past history and tell me I'm wrong, tell me this is different from the WiiU it really isnt. You cannot hand on heart defend this.

Rant over. Come on Nintendo fanboys pick this comment apart, I dare you!
fact is we won't know if it is a Wii U situation until well after launch. keep in mind preorders for the Switch are selling out all over the country and apparently is Sweden a game retailer is claiming it has surpassed the PS4 in preorder numbers ( https://www.facebook.com/webhallen/posts/1390566550964968 ) not necessarily a sign it will do better than the PS4, but a sign that they have momentum going into launch despite the small launch library

Nintendo are releasing 2 million units worldwide for the month of march. bout the same as PS4 and Xbone when they launched.

oh and you call it fake demand. i call it them not wanting over-production of hardware units in case no one ends up buying the damn thing like how no one bought the Wii U

Ah, the cries of "artificial shortages", the go-to excuse for people who realize they don't have an argument anymore, especially when it comes to Nintendo products.

Errrrmmmm...Did you ACTUALLY read that list of third party games, discount remakes, rehashes, 16 bit looking games and plain crap games how many are actually worth playing? Seriously that's the crappiest third party list I have ever seen.

And as far as "no games, just rehashes"? Are full on sequels rehashes now? Is that where we're going with this? Shin Megami Tensei, Dragon Quests 10 and 11, Nobunaga's Ambition, Project Octopath Traveler (need to workshop that name, yeesh), and (while a bit niche), new Warriors games, which are totally my jam.

And hell, my friends are the sort of lovable idiots that could probably shoot through an evening of getting smashed playing Arms of all things. Nothing like getting hammered and throwing punches at each other.
And I didn't even mention the new Splatoon, the probable Monster Hunter release, or Pokemon.

Ok...If Nintendo wants to be an indie-game go to place that's fine reflect it in the price then, these games should be $10-15 downloadable titles. None of their games (except Zelda and Mario) should be priced anywhere near $60 when most are last gen looking/indie titles.

"Nintendo Apologist" can work if said the right way. The way you throw it around, it boils down to "stop begin excited for stuff I personally hate!" Look at that looooooooooooooooooong list you got sent. Fast RMX, a new Shin Megami Tensei game, Splatoon 2, probably No More Heroes 3 if that is the rumoured release, Project Octopath Traveller... those are just a few games I'm looking forward to past Mario and Zelda.

So yes, I'm fucking serious. Cause people can like different things, in case the response towards you hasn't proved that many times over. You're free to not be excited, that's fine. But from how many threads you've made about this, I wouldn't say it's just the Switch you're not excited for. You probably have never been excited for anything Nintendo in your life. Feel free to let me know if I'm wrong though, but this is the impression you give off.

The system is shit? Yeah, ok, I'll believe someone who hasn't touched one since it's not out yet and change my mind. I agreed with you about the hidden specs and crap online incentives, and nearly full price for the old Skyrim... that's garbage as well. The rest of your points, to me, come off more as whining and winging, as some of them aren't even Nintendo's fault, like the Netflix support and Bomberman pricing.

We get it. Move on

I love how the only issue you could find with my post was exactly what I expected, that the games aren't all the newest biggest AAA games with cutting edge graphics

personally I saw several games on the list that I'm quite interested in

EDIT:

you realize none of the games he said are indie titles, the only one that might fill that bill is project octopath traveler, which we know very little about

also you're acting like ever game on the system is going to be 60 dollars when that is 100 percent not going to be the case

None of them, huh? Warriors games, SMT, Dragon Quest, the most innovative shooter to come out in a decade, none of them are worth more than 10-15 bucks?

When the fuck did Monster Hunter become an Indie game?
