Sadly Diablo 3 isn't coming out this year either most likely, you're going to have to settle for Starcraft 2, or just do like I do and replay Diablo 2 for the billionth time.Skarin said:A whole year without a Half life game?. Oh no, looks like I'll have to wait for Diablo III to calm my raging soul.

Indeed. And there's always the doubt that SC2 may not come out this year. For me I only looking forward to Aliens vs Predator, Napoleon:Total War and probably ME2.(When I finish ME1...I'm lazy.).Skarin said:oliveira8 said:Diablo 3 may only come in 2014...>.<NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo[small]ooooooooooooooo![/small]Zarthek said:Sadly Diablo 3 isn't coming out this year either most likely, you're going to have to settle for Starcraft 2, or just do like I do and replay Diablo 2 for the billionth time.
Gods damnit!. That makes my 2010 list come down to Bioshock 2, God of War III, Alan Wake and Starcraft 2.
At least on the 29th this month I have my money ready for Mass Effect 2
i think i'll go with the overly delayed Valve onejowo96 said:At this rate the mod community will beat valve to the punch.
That would only mean that they missed the point of episodic releases even worse than we initially thought. The point of episodic content is that you plan out the amount of content that would normally equate to an expansion pack or so, and then split it up into manageable chunks that can then be released every few months. If they didn't have a story, or at least a basic outline, planned for all 3 episodes to begin with then they shouldn't have taken the episodic route.thiosk said:There is no half life 2 episode three because everything the folks at valve came up with did not have the epic feeling of the previous entrants to the series. if they had a slick storyline that they could pack into an episode, they would have released it. instead they went to work on zombies.
If they turned out a half life 2 episode 3 today, and it sucked (or was only slightly better than killzone 2), you folks would start 30,000 threads about "how far thou hast fallen, dearest valve, why art thou teh sukketh?"
The fact that everyone is still talking about half life 2 as the role model for the current generation of shooters says something about valve. Episode two's final battle is a fantastic example of excellent story delivery, really pushed the envelope.
Do they now turn out something subpar?
Or are they charting out the next evolution in shooters? who knows.
As long as it doesn't have Richard Karn (Or now forever known as Al Borland)in it.. I'd watch!slowpoke999 said:Family Franchise Feud?snowfox said:I could picture a mini web series made out of this sort of thing... You should think about it!

Honestly, Valve hasn't made anything I've liked since HL2, and even that was good but not great for me. I stopped caring about HL3 several years ago.
Dammit I was just trying to be witty. Curse you Valve.lax4life said:It's true, i saw one of my friends in a non-steam game titled "Left 4 Dead 3 Beta"squid5580 said:Of course not. They gotta put out L4D3 by November dontcha know.
All hail the procrastinators of gaming. May we worship them with undivided attention now that 3d Realms is gone, we beseech thee that HL2: EP3 come ou- HEY A PUPPY!
L4D2 is a glorified expansion pack and calling it a full-feature game is about as justified as calling ODST anything more than a cash-in.Woodsey said:Left 4 Dead 2 came out in November.Jandau said:Isn't Valve too busy raking in money with STEAM to actually bother developing games?
