I'd try and take a picture of it, then submit it to 4Chan and wait for people to shout "FAKE!"

I would apologize to Gorak and say I didn't mean the things I said. I would ask him nicely if he can come back home to the cupboard next to the bathroom and stop living in the park.

Monsters are quite sensitive if you don't already know.

give it a chance to explain itself. if it does not wish to respond, or tries to kill me, shoot it until it resembles swiss cheese.

I'd have a game of catch with a friend in the park, and angle it so that said friend would have to throw through the invisible monster, proving to me that it is false, so nothing to worry about

Yes! *sobs violently* This thread was just a call to see if I was the only one seeing the monster! Hold me...

You have noticed however, that it is gone from sight for about an hour everyday, during the hours of 3pm-8pm
Suddenly realize that five hours do not equal one hour, realize that the presence of monsters are not the only things adding up improperly in my head, and check my medication.
He explains later that it is "sometime between 3pm and 8pm, he leaves for one hour." There is a distinction. It's like, "I work for eight hours on Monday". Monday is a 24-hour timeframe, in which I work 8 hours.

On-topic: I'd watch him intently from 3pm-8pm one day to see where he goes. Then, get a friend, go during high-traffic park hours, do a walk-through test, see if I or my friend bump into it. Then ask it what's up? If at any point it made itself a threat, I'd run.

Knowing me, I'd set up video camera and film it all day and all night, and see how/if it goes, or even if it appears on video at all.

After that, my inner scientist would start research. Does it appear/go away with any kind of pattern. Does anything seem to trigger it appearance/disappearance. What happens if I persuade someone to walk toward/through where the monster is? Does it respond to me?

I know I'm weird, but that's the way I work.

Aww, poor bum, hope someone gives the poor guy a fiver for his troubles. It's sad to see a guy down on his luck.

I know its a monster not a hobo, but if you think about it, they are reversable.

I'd probally try to talk to the monster. If that failed, I'd try to touch it. If I could touch it, I would get others to do so.

1. See if it appears on film.

2. See if I could throw a frisbee through it.

3. See if a dog could see it/growl at it.

4. Try communicating from a safe distance. See if it reacts differently to me than others.

From there, I'd initiate either a plan to kill it or determine that it's part of my imagination and start taking pills.

I would first study the creature, and record it with a video camera for several twenty four hour periods. Next, I would review the video tapes. If the creatures is on the tapes, I would post the video on the web and ask people what they see. If they say nothing I would assume that the creature is either a figment of my imagination or visible only to me for some undetermined reason. Next step would be to try to encounter the creature. I would wait for it to leave and then go and meditate on the exact spot where it sat. When it returns in one hour, I would either be moved or killed. If I am neither moved nor killed, I would then try to interact with the creature. If that failed, I would leave and assume it is a figment of my imagination, and seeing as it has cause no hostility in me, is not attacking me, and is not keeping me up at night, I would leave it be.

watch it for a whole day as in for 24 hours, if it leaves, follow it, once it gets back, punch it in the gut, if it's real, I'm boned, if it isn't, i'll just live in my own little insane world for the rest of my life, it's not like the damnd thing is hurting anyone/thing, and it's not like keeping the monster my secret is hurting anyone/thing.... well maybe my mental state, but that went to hel a few years ago, so it's all good :]
