Elizabeth Greene in prototype. she has a main health bar, that regenerates, along with three smaller health bars you have to destroy before you can even touch her. toppled with tanks attacking you and massive hunters jumping everywhere. and the three smaller health bars regenerate. and it fires rocks and green plasma at you that magically lock on to you.

yeah it's a ***** to fight.
I actualy found all bosses in Prototype very easy.Even though for some odd reason my first playthrough was on hard difficulty,I still breezed right through it.

OT:The Sock monster in Castle Crashers. Never knew a sock had the ability to kill people.

most recent game thats caused me no end of grief was gaxkang from dragon age, cleaving strikes and a "force" pull which grabs a hold of everyone? Not to mention he doesnt need mana so with the exception of dropping anti-magic zones and hoping for the best he>all

Ok, the only non-end boss that I find to be completely unfair and nearly impossible is Dante from DMC4. He can move just like you, only a little faster, and once he's got you, he takes his sweet time beating your ass. Everything else in the game is a breeze! Where does he get off being that hard!

Meta Ridley in Metroid Prime. he was much harder than the final boss
He was tricky and I died a few times, but after a couple of tries I saw how he might not be too hard. I think I beat Ridley pretty fast. It was the final boss that got me, he seems to have masses of health and he just wore me down. I did get him in the end though but only after much difficulty.

The time in Kingdom Hearts 1 where Riku takes your key blade and you get it back and fight him right after. I can never beat that, it's impossible for me to beat.

Final Fantasy XIII, Chapter 10 (On The Palemecia).

NOTE: This may be a bit of a spoiler for people who aren't there yet.

Barthandelus, the Fal'cie.

He killed me so many times that I could have hugged George Bush when I beat him. In a way, he's the final boss, but this references to the first time you fight Barthandelus, not the third time.

The funny thing is, he's gets easier as you progress! The next time you fight him, he only killed me once, and I have never died on the third time you fight him. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Oh, by the way, aren't the graphics heavenly in this game? It's like a god made them.
This, oh dear god this. Literally took me about 20 times.

FUCKING Gambit in X-men Origins: Wolverine. I can't believe how many times that ponce wrecked my shit, it was infuriating, especially since 'deadpool' (It's not the real Deadpool damnit!!) was a fuckin' pushover.

Do the Tripods outside the museum in Half-Life 2 count? It took me hours to figure out what I was supposed to do there, I kept on trying to take them down with bits of scattered rocket launcher and pieces of debris in the area just before the massive crater.
I didn't know that there were doors that you should open and progress, so I took hours to try to take them down. Also, the rooftops in the same games, and again, against the Striders, I hate Striders.

Also, In a game called Unlimited Saga, I was crushed by the same Sabretooth Tiger over and over and over again. I ragequitted and have never played that game since.

There wasn't many, I was really good at games when I was young.

I remember in Super Mario World there was 4 mini triceratops on a ferris wheel as a boss in one of the mini dungeons, that one took me awhile to beat.

Also the first Big Daddy in Bioshock was a pain in the ass.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, when you're in the plane with the Tyrant. The first time I got there I only had pistol ammo left. Not good enough for that encounter. I had to go all the way back to the beginning cuz I only used one save file.

It's kind of an end boss, but the dragon god (from demons souls) ate me like 3 times before I realized I had to move only when he wasn't looking.

Mad Mel from Borderlands, just because you have to fight him in a car.
I'm sure he's not that hard, I'm just so bad at driving that sometimes I manage to crash into the pole of the Catch-A-Ride just after I've spawned the car.
Seriously. I'm that bad.
