OT: Surely this is just between N. Korea and S. Korea really? Why is America getting involved?
In the 60's America intervened in the Korean war, in an attempt to prevent the spread of communism and all that. (They're technically still at war just under cease fire)

Besides the US likes to think of themselves as "The World Police" (Yes I did just steal that from Team America...). EG Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Gulf Wars, Both World Wars ETC

They just like to fly themselves over to continents and fight wars against oppression here and there. In fairness, they already killed most of their continents original population.Besides, Canada are hardly worth invading. They don't even have oil! Whereas the Middle East...........

OT: Kim Jong Il is going to feel a bit rubbish after he has launched all these nukes. What then? He won't have any doomsday weapons to threaten democracies with! He'll probably have to find other hobbies.... like beekeeping......
He'll threaten us with nuclear bees that die halfway across the ocean.

I think that SK and the US should stop their exercises for Kim, thus giving in to his demands and threats even though that's horribly wrong.
This is a terrible idea, have you ever read the book If You Give A Mouse A Cookie? Giving into his demands will just make him more and more antagonistic.
It's not like he'll get a stronger army or more missiles when we do what he aks for a while.
He'll think that he's safe and powerful, at that moment we should take action.
He will get more audacious because he feels he can get away with it. Hitler did the same thing and the rest of Europe took a policy towards him similar to what you are suggesting. The best way to deal with this is to not let him be a fucking retard and do something about it sooner rather than later.

He may get more powerful, I mean armies and countries tend to have R&D departments and their whole job is to make sure that the army is advancing it's technology.

The nukes aren't supposed to fall for another two years at best, 67 years at worst. Oh well, time to prepare for Yao Guai now.
Just as soon as they can figure out how to transport them. Yes, they have the technology to MAKE them, but thus far they haven't even been able to get the bombs to shoot over the water even remotely close to Japan. We just talked about this in my government class this year. And if they can't get over that small of a gap, how do they propose making them go over a whole ocean unnoticed?
