'Fraid that Megas XLR is ungodly amounts of pure win and epicness.

Disagree? Well you obviously haven't fought yourself in another dimension, teamed up with your alien rival and your badass buddy (who is a wuss in your dimension), fought an army of evil dudes led by your evil self with your rival's army then to trap your evil self in a dimension where Smurf style orange elves live (And the Elves are badass-ly strong.)

Well!? Have you!!?

You say this while knowing that this- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqekP27roak- existed once? The phrase "pales in comparison" pales in comparison to the difference in quality between the classics and those new things.
I spent most of my weekends just watching this cartoon last year. Even Wolverines silly voice didn't bring it down!

I have reason to be happy. Apparently, there is going to be a six part mini series of Batman Beyond playing in June, that will link the DC:AU with the rest of the DC universe!

HELL YES!

I thought i was the only one who thought that!

What is it about that show that makes it so enjoyable to watch?
The relentless optimism without being annoyingly sweet? The well rounded characters, none of whom are complete jerks/idiots/whatever? Plus the cool parental bonus jokes.

I am a freshman in college. not only do I love that show, but I've yet to meet a person who doesn't
I'm a 27 year old college graduate and I love that show. Also, Avatar: the Last Airbender (which totally deserves to keep the title over James Cameron's CGI snoozefest).

anyone remember the animaniacs?
I just watched a bunch of clips from that show on YouTube, mostly the musical bits like the 50 states and capitals, the countries of the world, and the presidents. Excellent stuff.

In terms of what's gone on lately, the only cartoon-y shows I've enjoyed are the ones that are on Teletoon after like 8:00 (or at least were): Ren & Stimpy, Clone High, Robot Chicken, Sons of Butcher, Metalocalypse... mind you, I've always, always had a soft spot for Bugs & Tweety. Even my Dad still watches that.

Avatar: The Last Airbender.
It is truly amazing, especially considering it aired completely on Nick.

Flapjack and Chowder are terrible, you hippies need to stop watching TV while high.
To quote The Dude, that is just YOUR opinion, man.

I cannot believe they canceled Spectacular Spiderman. That show made my head explode with satisfaction. Here's hoping that they will respect the legacy the show made with Ultimate Spiderman. I try not to keep my hopes to up though.

Teen Titans was also awesome cause apart from being fucking hilarious (I know Kung Fu, whoa), also had amazing slugfests and you could begin watching it from any season you liked. It was sort of like magic. The 4th season in particular was truly amazing.

I also liked Courage and Dexter, along with the Eds' foiled attempts to money and fame and the fact that Chowder's stomach is big enough to serve as a kiosk warehouse.

Saturdays are too generic to stomach in my opinion. Ben 10 was also good but Alien Force is terribly written.

A lot of people may disagree but the X-Men Generation series really impressed me..it probably ended about 5 years ago now but...i recently-ish watched through the whole 4 series and with the exception of a couple of episodes it was very good.

Isn't it funny that a thread intended to remind people of -current- kid's shows that don't suck ends up turning into a nostalgia-fest? I'm not saying many of the suggestions are bad, to the contrary, most are, or should I say -were- awesome, but have mainly finished and only really show up as re-runs.

That said: One current, and ongoing show I like is Batman: The Brave & The Bold. Basically each episode Batman gets to team up with a hero from the DC universe, or, should I say they get to team up with Batman. Many heroes and indeed villains showcased appear for the first time in animation, and some long forgotten faces such as Plastic Man get a look in too, all in all a nice mix of the familiar and the obscure. The show isn't especially dramatic, like Justice League or JLU, but it's fun, and often exudes the sense of an endearing homage to the Silver Age of DC comics while never taking itself too seriously.
