JLA Unlimited has been cancelled indefiently, so you must of been watching reruns. DON'T, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WATCH THE BATMAN OR BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD! The first can't decided if it wants to be campy and "goofy" or dead serius, the latter basically is a remake of the 60's show (ignoring all developements of Batman from the last 50 years) with Robin being replaced by random (and ungodly annoying) DC heros that have little relation to Batman. They have NOTHING to do with Justice Leauge, the original Batman: TAS or Batman Beyond (All which were made by the brilliant Tom Ruegger) and just are a slap to the face to any Batman, or DC animated universe fans.
Point taken. I was watching Justice League Unlimited online, its never on air any more.
So I guess I'll avoid those two.
Dammit I want these shows to come back. DeeDee kicked ass.

Hm....
Well, there are a few shows that I kinda like, even though I really don't watch TV anymore because of all the bad shows...

Samurai Jack: The most badass, sometimes funny, but just pure awesome show I have ever had the honor of being around to watch

Courage the Cowardly Dog: The insanity is what made me laugh. At times it was just so odd, I couldn't help it!

Avatar The Last Airbender: This show was pretty good. It was funny at times, action filled, with a little bit of a romance thing on the side, I think....It was done quite well.

Batman The Brave and the Bold: I like this show. If not only because it has some background Batman chatter, but also because at times is just shows Batman having the most insane connections with the whole damn universe. And I liked seeing all these random characters with him. It was nice to see the Batman working with a bunch of other heroes for a change.

Thats all I can think of for the moment.

Kids shows on right now, that I enjoy:

iCarly
Chowder
Batman: The Brave and the Bold
Marvel Super Hero Squad (Hero up!)
Phineas and Ferb
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (yes, it's being re-aired, with some special effects thrown in to keep it "fresh")
I know there's more, but I can't think of 'em...

I highly recommend The Brave and the Bold. It can be dark when it wants to, but overall, it's just a fun little medley of the DC Universe, featuring Batman, and a buttload of other DC Heroes you've probably never heard of. I think it comes through really well that the creators love making the show, and it's made me laugh a good few times, and I always enjoy an episode! If nothing else, look up some clips on YouTube.

The Batman on the otherhand.... Yeah I just didn't like it.

Flapjack is brilliant and Chowder is... decent. Those are the only 2 shows remotely worth watching on Cartoon Network now.
You summarized my thoughts on Cartoon Network completely.

Oh, how I long for the days of:

Courage The Cowardly Dog

Dexter's Laboratory

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

Yes...The Powerpuff Girls, too.

Nothing on Nickelodeon is worth a damn. I can't wait to watch iCarly: Carly goes on more wacky adventures.
This a million times :D
oh and don't forget Ed, Edd, and Eddy; Johnny Bravo, and some others that i can't think of at the moment lol.

For shows that don't air anything new anymore but happened at least in the 2000s: The Weekenders, I miss that show so much. I loved Justice League, Unlimited was good too. I didn't like The Batman (lack of Kevin Conroy as Batman not a fan of).

I don't watch that much TV anymore but I actually enjoy Wizards of Waverly Place. I also like Chowder (love the animation style) and I love Spongebob Squarepants.

An aside: I highly enjoyed Beast Wars and ReBoot, gosh do I ever miss those, ReBoot set the bar for CGI cartoons.

Topic got too long for me to finish reading, but if nobody's mentioned Ben 10: Alien Force yet, then that.

The DCAU is pretty old now. I thought that's what you meant by kid shows suck today
I refer to new kids shows as anything to come out after the year 2000. Yeah, its ten years now, but I still consider that to be modern.

Batman: Brave and the Bold
This show is a lot of fun. It's a lot more camp and a lot less serious than the other DC cartoons.

Megas XLR
Samurai Jack
And the clone wars series.

Are all 2000+ and good!

I love The Misadventures of Flapjack.

As for ones no longer shown:
Johhny Bravo
Courage the Cowardly Dog
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and the one with the bear on the island that accompanied it.
Samurai Jack
Megas XLR
The original Clone Wars miniseries, especially the one where Grievous kills all but two of the jedi he was fighting under a burned out Clone ship.
And Code Lyoko was okay.

Code Lyoko was awesome. Wasn't there another season made in France that never made it to USA?

Batman the brave and bold is really good and fucking funny.

Spectacular Spiderman is amazing in every possible way (although some of the villains turn evil way too quickly, especially doc oc)

Iron man the armoured adventures make tony stark a teenager but somehow manage to make it great, don't ask me how that's possible just watch the damn show.

Kim possible, okay its a few years old but non the less a good show. Same goes for teen titans.

The super hero squad is great with an awesome theme tune to boot.
