Meh. CoD is dead to me. If they make something so shiningly perfect it's impossible to ignore, I'll try it, but if they keep going down the road they are heading I won't bother.

Agree. Well, they don't ALWAYS deliver IMO. I enjoyed the older BF games, I don't like the direction the newer went, with smaller maps, less players and not being able to crouch OO. But it seems like they are taking back old territory with BF3, so I'm excited about it =).
You can't crouch in the newer games?, thats madness, what do you do when the all important opportunity of tea bagging arises?.

I've never liked Treyarch myself, or IW for that matter, I can stand IW because the response from the guns has a tactile feel to it that Treyarch just barely got right with CODWaW.
You can crouch, but you cant go prone, is what he meant.
Suki is a she, but yeah she told me the confusion.

I'm pretty sure in Halo 1 you couldn't crouch, or maybe lean I can't remember!
Is there any console game you can lean in?
I had Halo on the PC, so I was like "WTF" when I couldn't lean.

Over the years I've come to except that I wont be able to lean.
[dalek voice] Leaning is unacceptable [/dalek voice]

I loved IW's Call of Duty titles for their cinematic story. The Volga River level in COD1 and the British campaign in COD2 were my favourites. COD4 was, to be honest, my first Call of Duty game. I did play some multiplayer for COD4, but not much. I play more Battlefield BC2 than any other multiplayer title, and yes, I will admit it has flaws like any other game.

The single player campaign is boring and uninspired, with too much wiggle room in the levels which kept me from getting drawn into the story. Also, I didn't like the humour, and the archetypal characters are two dimensional, and some of the story sequences like the airstrike in Zero Dark Thirty which took more than a few (frustrating) goes.

Multiplayer has noob tubers like any other, and campers and the occasional spawn rape. But I expect just like those who play Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer for hours on end, enjoyment of the game outdoes whatever gripes it has.

I am actually looking forward to the BFBC2 expansion and I have preordered the Medal of Honor reboot. I like what Danger Close is doing for the single player campaign, I liked the beta, and I am optimistic.

Personally, I'll never buy another CoD game. I've enjoyed what I've played of the series (mostly single player), but after the Activision debacle and the originators of the series getting canned for whatever reason, there's no good excuse for an informed gamer to give Activision your hard earned dollars so they can treat people badly.
