Why can't people just drive off of base and down the road to Wal Mart and buy it?
Because they might be on a base in the middle of nowhere... or on a Canadian administered base in a combat operations zone... both of which would be the bases that had the larger on-base stores (seeing as there'd be fuck all alternative).
Which means they could order online or have someone home-side order it and send it to them in the mail if they really want it. It worked for me when I wanted books the Falkland's base didn't possess.
Yep but in that case, that's not the military's lookout. They get to have their posturing and make a stand on something and there's 100 ways around it that they already know will be used. If someone in the government makes a huge noise about it, they can say "Well, we did what we could without infringing on the personal rights of our personnel."

CANADA has MILITARY stores?
Do not question the military might of the Terrible Tundra. Americans live in a constant state of fear knowing that all hell could be unleashed within one hour if we piss off the sleeping giant in the north...
We have enough nukes to sterilize the fucking country above us. Nobody is afraid of them.

It really is a bad idea to unleash nuclear hell on an ally that SHARES A BORDER.

Nuclear particles are indifferent to wind direction.

I will admit I didn't think of that... Don't I feel stupid.

Any Canadian with half a brain would just make a beeline to the nearest hydroelectric plant. US wouldn't want to accidentally damage those.

Shit happens. Some movies used to be banned, even from private homes. We'll evolve.

But to all Canadian MOH fans, my heart goes out to you.

Unless you live on a base, I fail to see how this is relevant.

...Ohhh, I see it now. A chance for all our American friends to come in and bash the Canadian army. Even though, you know, our boys have been dying in Afghanistan in a war your government so wisely started, and we were forced into. Funny how that works, isn't it?
Fixed that for you.
Canada was smart enough to stay out of Iraq this time. We didn't drink the WMD Kool Aid.
Thanks. Not sure why I put Iraq *smacks face*.

All this uproar over a game and it's really not that difficult an issue. They already said in an interview that if the game doesn't sell 3 million copies they won't make another one, so if you're against this kind of thing, just don't buy it. 3 million is not a guaranteed mark even for a AAA game as this one is supposed to be. Vote with your dollars, either support them or don't, but either side trying to force their morality on the other just isn't going to work.
