Since President-Elect Barack Obama will become President Obama in 10 days, how do you think his term will go? Feel free to add specifics.

That's Biden's job. He's President of the Senate.mokes310 said:I voted for Obama, and I'm very optimistic. I haven't felt this good since Clinton was elected.
Universal Healthcare is my biggest concern and I'm hoping Obama will enact some legislation moving us towards that!
It seems pretty hard to assassinate the president now though in america, always see billions of secret service4thegreatergood said:All the good ones do.MackB said:If I lived in america, I would have voted for obama

It's the responsibility of the Congress and Senate, not Biden. Biden's only real responsibility in the Senate is to cast a tie-breaking vote if it's needed. Ultimately, it's Obama's job to sign into law any legislation that would come from Congress and the Senate regarding Healthcare.4thegreatergood said:That's Biden's job. Fun fact: America has been socialist as long as Americans have been on welfare.tijuanatim said:People say love will always prevail. On Topic. I voted for Obama and am very optimistic for the next four years. I think that unfortunately the first part of his term will be trying to clean up after Bush (Much as Pigeon_Grenade pointed out). I really can't wait to see him do a great job just to rub it in all the racist rednecks who are convinced that America will become a socialist country and all of our guns will be taken away the second he is sworn in.
