Oblivion Players! Question regarding Dark Brotherhood entry!

I can't say I remember really, because, frankly, I've killed a lot of people. Townspeople, guards, people who had shit I wanted. On that final Thieves Guild quest where you get to kill as many of the guards as you want, I think I took that to heart, and killed every guard I could on the way... even the sleeping ones. And that could very well be how I got that first kill, slaughtering random guards.

I got held up by a bandit and after we got through the dialogue choices where I said I wasn't going to give him my money, I guess my game bugged or something so it didn't recognize that he was trying to kill me. I got kind of upset with it when it gave me the message, since I had another character that I WAS going to put through the dark brotherhood, and got it on my good character.

i got it the first day i played oblivion, i saw a ranger by himself in the woods next to a tent and some supplies i killed him and slept in the tent. then when i first heard Lucien's voice i almost shat a brick. then he gave me the "virgin blade" which made me laugh.

ummm i actually killed the manager of the inn of ill omen without knowing what the inn was for which made my game go a funky so i had to reload the save and killed a guard

Trying out Deadly Reflex, accidentally lopped off someone's head because my sheathe weapon key was right next to the bash key. I almost died laughing. >.>

Doing the quest in Anvil where you have to kill the gang of Female robbers... counted as a innocent kill eventhough they tried to kill me xD

First time I killed the one chick you leave alive in The Sirens Deception. Second time I killed an Aureal general that was supposed to get killed by Mazken troops. Third time I killed a random black horse carrier because I wanted to get in, but did not feel like killing somebody in a town.
The first time I was an Argonian, the second time I was a Breton, and the last time I was a High Elf.

i was robbing a house, so i started with killing it's owner. what? it worked in morrwind, besides, i needed the gold.

Every character: That daedra guard in the first Oblivion gate counts as murder until he talks to you and becomes aggressive.

Very simple way of opening up the whole game because you get invited to the Assassins guild and you get access to the Oblivion gates.(the others require some minor talking that could be done before you go to that oblivion gate)

But I made an excellent assassin, how could a magick throwing, sword wielding god not be a good one?
Also got all the bonuses, because I was that good.

The first time I was visited by the dark brotherhood I jumped and shit my pants, why do they come after you randomly sleep.

I killed a bum. My friend had already gotten the message and joined the dark brotherhood. I wanted to get my assassination on, so I went and killed someone I could easily get away with killing.

think i was on a thieves guild mission and things went a bit wrong ended up killing somebody and having to go through the thieves guild readmission thing, plus point i got in the dark brotherhood, the best set of missions in the game

I'm replaying the game now and got the shivering isles quest, when you have to get rid of a thief, i jsut thought "Well im going to have to kill someone anyway, might aswell be a thief."

Good times.

You know that fisherman that asks for the slaughter fish scales? Well I killed him after he gave me a terrible reward.

Wait, would that 'terrible reward' be that ring that lets you breath underwater?

If so, that's perhaps the most usefull object I've found - lets you hide from guards underwater, for a certain amount of time at least.

Be kind of useless if you're argonian though, wouldn't it...

or if you've got above level 15 and find water walking and water breathing items EVERYWHERE.

Personally, on the first playthrough, I jumped on the pirate ship because they told me not to. Made that Dark Brotherhood quest pretty easy too.
