The entire Metal Gear Solid series is rather obscure in many ways.

Also, the universe of Beyond Good and Evil was pretty weird - but not in a "dark" obscure kind of way, quite the opposite frankly.

And last but not least - Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit. That game redefined what WTF is all about.

The first one i can think of is incoming:the final conflict. There is very little information on this game on the internet.

My brother had Kao the Kangaroo for the Gameboy, but probably the most obscure game I own now is Solar 2.
me and like 14 other guys at my college had a huge LAN match during class as we had no teacher for like 3 hours, we ended up forming teams, one half of the room vs the other

we never got to finish because the teacher came back but the other team was winning i think, anyway yeah that game is pretty good

I remember there was this one game for the original xbox called voodoo vince. It was a platformer and a pretty cool game. That might just be memory though as I don't have it anymore. The thing I remember most was you got tokens which you used to hurt yourself in an ever growing variety of ways. You killed everyone but yourself because you were well a voodoo doll.

Costume Quest from Double Fine Productions.

It's a cute Halloween game with the regular Tim Schafer humour.

Deadly Premonition - no need to introduce, I love this fucker to no end.

Rez - some people call it art and a classic rythm game, but after playing some not-so-classic rythm games like the BIT.TRIP series, I am actually convinced that there exist rythm games that have something to do with rythm. Rez simply doesn't work for me, it's just weird. And the sequel was pffff, let's not even go into that.
Those two games were awesome, and Rez was amazing. It was the only reason I bought Child of Eden, which was another great game.

Deadly Premonition was great because it was funny, and I don't know if they intended that or not, but it's still a fun game to play.

Right Zach?

Rise of Legends.
Like Rise of Nations with Steampunk, Arabian Nights, and Aztec Sun gods and a city-based district building system. It was a great idea, but the combat lacked any form of excitement.
