Aw, damn. You just had to mention OoT.
Now I have to hook up my N64 and play it again.

Fighting Volvagia was like the best boss battle ever. Killing dragons with giant hammers, it all sounds so.. power metal.

you know I never played OoT, this is waaaaaaaaay back when my brother played and I watched. I remember his relief when I bought him a strategy guide so he could finally get out of Jabu Jabu's belly.

In the well, it actually took me forever to realize I have to use the eye of truth to see what's really there. I spent forever trying to figure out where I was supposed to go because I didn't know you could just walk through that first initial wall.

when aproaching the forest temple, i was expecting to see Saria and when i didnt found her i felt so sad, then Sheik came and told me what happened, i was so sad

then when i finally entered the temple, all the green and a wooden door leading in, the atmosphere, the sounds, the music, i was awestruked

all the forest temple was an amazing experience for me, i really felt an attatchment towards Saria (you could call it a platonic love) and fought in that temple the hardest to complete it, just because i really didnt wanted to let Saria down

is it weird to have such an attatchemnt over a fictional character??

Ocarina of Time is the first Zelda game I seriously sat down and tried to beat, and I was stunned; I had no idea a video game could have that kind of power to literally sweep you into another world. I don't remember playing a game, either before or since, that made me feel that way, although some of the other Zelda games have come pretty damn close--especially Twilight Princess--as well as most of the Metroid games. I'm not ashamed to admit that I became a huge Miyamoto fan after playing that game, and the only thing stopping me from writing him a fan letter is (a) not having any idea where to send it, and (b) not knowing if he knew English well enough to understand it anyway. Hell, if I had both of those covered, I'd probably do it now!

acually, it wasent ocarina of time that was most memorable for me, it was a link to the past, that was the first game i have ever beaten! every step in that game was a step back in time for me, back when video games were fun, i even remember my old rupee farming technique in there, those were the days...

back on subject, i dont know why ppl hate the water temple soo much... i breezed thru it, and on my first try :O everyone was soo angry at me :p and i think fighting dark link was the funnest part on there, its pretty easy to defeat him with the fire ability, but i still like clashing with him, swords and shields, epic fun... i also remember making link throw up at the mill thing... cant remember what exactly its called, and just finding all those heart pieces, digging in every nook and cranny, bombing trees, to see if there were secret tunnels under them, shooting chickens, riding on them, oh that game was just soo fun, i simply cant wait til they come out with another zelda game, if they ever do, and if they dont ruin it....
