I swear there is a guy that plays Modern Warfare 2 and his Gamertag is:

"A Thousand Jews"

So everytime you would kill him, the screen would read:

You Killed A Thousand Jews

Which i found Hillarious.
I feel rather insulted when I see names like these in games. But that's how the world sees Jews and I deal with it.

I suppose I just don't like to be reminded that my entire family died except for 2 of my grandparents when I am trying to immerse myself in a game.
Stop being sensitive!! You have no right not to be offended!! As long as it's funny to me, who cares what you think!? Et cetera!

Meh, seems every 5 seconds I see another "Gawd, everyone's so sensitive nowadays!" thread. And it usually paints a picture of an entire generation of insulated little narcissists whose only concern is what they themselves think of their various personal in-jokes and who could never think of actually taking responsibility for their actions in a civilized society.
As usual, its not their behavior that's the problem. It's the 20-40 people per day they meet who are so offended by their radical, edgy, and thoroughly hilarious behavior. Well that's just the price you pay for being in the presence of such awesomeness, brah. The lulz are what matters. (EDIT: I blame the Internet.)

If I was the guy with the 'offensive' gamer tag I'd be worried. Those dyslexic's may have serious retard strength.
Please for the love of god tell me that was a FATAL referance and not a sereous opinion.

Your dyslexic friend is an idiot to get worked up over simple alliteration.
I take offense to that, my grandpa died of alliteration complications :(

EDIT: Also, when i ask how it is offensive i get nothing. Not a peep.
ok that's hilarious, a peep is also a duck shaped treat.

quite frankly your mate needs to chill and anyone named Dislexic Duck sounds awesome.

when he gets enough points to change his name he should change it to "A Dislexic Duck"

"you were killed by a dislexic duck"

magic.

Well that syldexic must be too easily offended, since that's not even all that offensive. I've seen much more offensive game tags made by people who, in all likelyhood really do deserved to get the shit beaten out of them.
I think you're friend and his cronies are just being overly sensitive.

It's not just him. He has arranged other friends ti beat the shit out of my mate with the gamer-tag. Also, people are not going to talk to him.
That right there could get them in deep s*** for harrassment. (or maybe I'm thinking of something else, but there are laws against threats like that)

It's not like he said or did something offensive, the gamertag isn't really offensive. It's one person taking something way too seriously.

You were in the right to act as mediator, but as soon as the other kid threatened to beat him up you should have dropped his side and gone with dyslexicduck. As that's just a sign of instability, and is not worth having to deal with in case that stupidity is ever aimed at you.

They need to get a life, its an Xbox online thing, if they were going to beat up everyone who has ever cracked a joke about dyslexia, than they would be outnumbered, by a lot.

Heck, my lil bro is a dyslexic reader and he laughs whenever I tell a dyslexic joke that would seem offensive.

EDIT: point being, it will come and go, take your friends side who has the gamertag, the other kid isn't worth your time. Unless they're both starting sh** than stay neutral in the matter.

This topic of offensive gamertags reminds me of something funny though. My friend plays a lot of Halo so he changed his Gamertag to JamesBluntsJizz. So that everytime he ran over somebody in the game a message would appear 'You got splattered by JamesBluntsJizz'. Eventually he was made to change it but it made me laugh.........a lot at the time.

They're choosing to take offense over something that's really not that much of a problem.

Your friends suck, dood. You can do better than hang out with low lives who would have the shit beat out of you for something that's really not a big deal.

are there gamer tags that are offensive yes there are I saw one today that was Quote "Arabic, are gay and suck D" now first of i would like to say i am not arabic but that kind of gamer tag should not be allowed period. while i think that your dyslexic friend may have been a bit harsh i would not know because i am not dyslexic i do have A.D.D and i and many people make fun of that and i'm fine with it as long as its not to harsh.
the one thing i can say for sure about gamer tags that i find offensive is that if your in a game with me with one that i believe is. my only objective in the game is to make you lose. harsh it may be but that who i am
