Claves in Eternal Sonata. It's not that it wasn't sad or that she wasn't a likable character, it's that she died about 30mins-1hour after she joins the party and it's made out to be a massive loss for everyone.

On the plus side there is a side quest where you can collect her soul and resurrect her.

Wait.. Doesn't that make her death MORE pointless.

Whisper... stupid fucking Whisper...
"and another one to me."
It'll be hard for you to steal my Hobb kills in hell you dumb (expletive deleted)!
Oh lord, I forgot about Whisper. The bit in the Arena thing where it was like, choose her fate, to me it wasn't about doing the 'right' thing by me or my character, it was about FINALLY MAKING HER PAY FOR WHAT SHE DID ALL GAME.
She called you "Farmboy" the whole game. I hated that name. Even when playing the "good" side, I still murdered her. Stupid *****.

When I killed Carth in KOTOR (Dark side, of course). I HATE Carth. He's such a dick, and has an extremely boring back story.
More interesting than Juhani and Mission. God they were boring. Was all about the Jolee, HK-47 and Bastila for me.

When that one french girl from Call of Duty 3 blows herself up and then that french guy starts tragically crying over her dead body while the British dude consoles him.

I just remember thinking to myself "Are you kidding? They expect me to give a crap about some stereotypical action girl who blew herself up?"

Hell speaking of women and things exploding in the Call of Duty series, I really didn't care much about the girl who got herself shot down when you were all trying to make a retreat.

While I could say that it was because she was only in that one mission, I do remember caring about Captain McMillan when he was injured in by that chopper crashing in Pripyat, and that was the only mission that he was in, so maybe it was because he wasn't such a flat, two dimensional character.
