Ok there was this game i use to play all the time on my brothers computer about a decade ago and i think it was a demo. So u were this hovering loooking ship that hoovered over a pyramid looking structure and this structure helped you regain health and regain points to be able to create your Tanks, Jets , Helicopters and other vehicles i believe. you were able to move your ship around but moved slow and were able to shoot with your ship also. In the game you were battling another hovering ship that was able to do the same tihng as you and basically you build your vehicles and send them to attack the other base to destroy it and he would try to do the same. you were able to control personally any vehicle you made and shoot with it when attacking the other enemy, when attacking the other you usually sent out a wave of your vehichles. when other opponents sent their wave of vehicles your vehichles automatically attacke back to defend. i remember when using a small map and you were always the blue icons and the enemies were yellow and red. In one of the maps i remember that you played againg both opponents which one was a yellow team and the other red and i remember the map been at night and there was tall buildings. This is all i remember
Urban Assault
Took me a while but this is the game right?

I can't remember the name of a game I found one time while surfing the web for a 3D construction game. The site had a pic of a brick building with a yellow crane in front of it on the main page. It was a game where you build 3D structures out of different materials like wood and brick then can use the tools at your disposal to destroy those structures. I don't remember much else about it but if anyone could help me out it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance :).

This is giving me a headache. I'm not even sure if this was a game or if it was a bonus level of a game. :-D I remember you were supposed to collect candy or you could shoot candy, not sure. And I remember there were big chairs and other big furniture in the background. And the colours were pretty bright. It must've been an SNES game. I have nothing more to go on... :-( Really appreciate your help! Thanks! :)

Okay this has been bugging me for a while and I apologize for the vagueness of what I am about to describe..

I can't entirely remember what I played this game on, something is telling me it was PC as it seams a bit too control intensive for original Xbox. The game consists of vast landscapes and goals you must achieve. You are in this form of futuristic spaceship/hovership, it doesn't actually fly it hovers. You have a heads up display that feeds you all your info, i don't believe you can see outside the ship. Anyway you can construct bases at certain designated locations, you can construct buildings to build units which you can send in to battle and you can construct defenses for your base. One of the things i specifically remember is a defense turret designed to stop missile attacks, it was called the 'Patriot' turret, had a strange round-ish front to it, like a gattling gun. There were two main factions, one looked human-based due to ship/unit designs, the other quite alien..I recall use of a lot of black and red for the alien faction.

Hope somebody remembers this as it's driving me crazy and the only thing i remember is the damn turret! Any help is appreciated :) this is circa early 2000's.
Sounds like the PC game Uprising.
You, sir, are an absolute legend!! I cannot thank you enough for your help :)

This is a tricky one. Facts:

- PC Game
- Top down
- 3D
- Action / Adventure
- late 90s or early 2000
- Cheese dialogs

I don't think it was a very popular game. It came in a compilation CD.

The settings of the game was the then very near future, but something happened and mutants and crazy people roam the streets. I think there were factions with lunatics being one of them. You could choose different kind of guns, I remember a flame thrower too.

You had to roam from area to area completing goals and trying to advance, but I think you could visit previous areas. Some areas I remember were a sewage, a lab, a hospital and a desolated city.

Thank you guys!!

There was one game that I can't remember. You start off in a castle and once you leave, you wander around the map, which is 2d, and you fight enemies that are already visible on the map.

To fight the enemies, you create your armies by "buying" (i don't actually remember the correct way it occurred) troops and you use these to fight other creatures.

You have a small ship and sail around, but I don't remember the purpose of the game whatsoever. I do remember that there were dragons, elves, zombies, fairies, and other types of beings that could be recruited into your army. Any help would be appreciated.
Heroes of Might and Magic?
no, it was na older gen game, most likely on snes, nes, or the sega.
You may have missed my message, but was it "King's Bounty"?

YOU ARE A GOD AMONG MEN!!!! Thank you so much.
Lol, well I wouldn't say that. ;P Just a fellow oldskool gamer.
King's Bounty has always been a particular favorite of mine; simple, fun and addictive. A good predecessor to HMM.

HELP!!!!! i hope someone can remember this game... i played it in school in grade 5 i think so around 93-95.
you where stuck on an island it was in first person view, you could either move forward backward left or right this gave you a different screen, you collected items you found, one item i remember was right at the start was collect the parachute from the tree, one scene you couldn't go forward because of a bamboo Forrest so you had to find a way to cut the bamboo, once you did that you ended up using the bamboo to make a raft or bridge i think..
this all had to be done before a volcano erupted in the end from memory you escaped by an old submarine or boat hidden in a cave.... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! i have been looking for years!!

There were a couple games I used to play back in the 90's, that I just can't remember now.

In one you moved around above the planet, similar to civilization games, and could drop different species of alien creatures into the wild. Some were predators, some prey...you could maintain a balanced ecosystem or release a bunch of predators into a herd of helpless creatures.

The other was very much like the Command & Conquer games, but an alien would appear on screen and talk to you in a little video box. You could either play as them or Humans I believe. The game had some pretty decent music as well, from what I recall.

Not much info to go on I know, but if anybody can think of anything it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there, I really hope someone can help me with this one.

The game is an RPG with 3D graphics. I would believe it is from the 1995 - 2005 era (my guess).

In the game you play this guy who is traveling to his uncle (perhaps?) and finds him dead (as I remember). I can't remember the plot of the game, but I do remember that you become a mage. And you get some sort of "Mage Nexus" or "Base".

In my mind the game was called something with "Hex" but after countless futile hours I have given up on that. However I am still convinced there was something with an X.

One thing I DO remember however is, that there is a battle in the end of the game, where there is actually a lot of NPC's fighting along side you. Very epic and just to my taste!

Is this tickling anyone's mind? :)
I'll just try again to see if anyone can remember this one :)

It wasn't "real" 3D, but sort of like Baldur's Gate.

Hey, everyone! I've got this old game I used to play in 2000, 2001 or so but I can't remember the name. It was a first-person shooter game and all you had to do was to shoot people randomly appearing. You couldn't move, you always shot from the same point, you just had that one gun and the people you had to shoot were images of real people holding guns or machine guns or knifes. I remember there was a level where they came out of and behind barrels and even while playing you were in a horizontal placed barrel (but just in that level). At some point there was a guy with a knife appearing right in front of you, always scared me to death.
And I also remember that when you got shot, you didn't die instantly, you had something like a shield made of glass. And when you died, the glass broke and there was blood on the screen.

Any help is truly appreciated!
Sounds like Lethal Enforcers, but that was a heck of a lot earlier than 2000. Possibly Mad Dog McRee, if it was Western themed?

Can anyone help me? I'm trying to remember a game where You played as a Wizard kid dressed in a blue robe and hat, going through levels trying to find all the broken pieces of a golden sword to defeat some uber boss, and in order to beat the game you had to buy a new set of eyes that turned them blue and made them as big as your head almost, but gave you infinite mana or something, then you bought shoes that made you run faster, i remember the final pair of shoes being purple. and you could buy capes and such. There was a grassy level, a cave level and a fortune cookie factory as 3 of the levels. It's really killing me trying to remember, I played it on my mom's old windows 95 back when i was like 8 or 9.
