I've recently thought of a game that I used to play ages ago on the PS1, I can't remember the name of it.

I think it was two players. You start off in a graveyard I think and you fight monsters. After like 10 minutes in the level, you encounter 2 gargoyles that fly. I remember vaguely of a woman who had a big wooden stick that she'd use to hit with and a man with a black trenchcoat or something. I think the movement was like the old Tomb Raider game, where you can't strafe but you turn then walk forward.

Anyone, please? D: I've been trying to find this game for ages.

There was a game back in the Windows' 95 glory days with a red car, where you were driving on a road next to the beach. On the sides there were palms(obviously) and sometimes restaurants ( diner). It had more levels, and I remember that one was on a green field and it had a lot of windmills on the side. If you press space you can get other cars on the street ( There were yellow VW Beetle lookalikes , trucks and others). There was a girl with you in the car. If you'd have crashed the car, it would roll over and the girl (blonde) would get angry. Can you helpp me find it?

So glad I found this forum, and I'm hoping someone here can help. I tried to scan the posts to see if anyone asked about this game already, but 222 pages is a lot to look through, I apologize if I'm repeating a post.

80's arcade game (anywhere from 83-89). I THINK you were a man in a space suit shooting some kind of aliens. It was a multidirectional game, side view, non auto scrolling. Gun upgrades were randomly placed around the levels, and I seem to remember some of the levels being very large.

I thought I might have found the answer with Section Z, but section Z is an auto scroller, and I know for sure that this game wasn't.

Thank you to anyone and everyone that might point me in the right direction.

Hi, I'm wondering if you will be able to help with that problem of mine. I struggle with this for years! Also apologize if I'm reposting.

There was an old game with isometric view, but quite nice graphics. Had this on Win98 or 2000? (...or maybe XP? naah.. don't think so)
In demo mission you had a group (familiar to fallout tactics, one has medic skills) to rescue your friend who was kidnapped by those vicious aliens (Maybe Predator-like? Don't remember) on spaceship. And there was time limit, because your lost comrade was imprisoned uncounscious in some uhm... plant? tentacles? and it sucked life out of him. Anyway, when the rescue party ended victorious, you go and clean rest of ship of aliens and their mother. Oh, and if I recall, you didn't die, you lose consciousness and someone from crew could drag you to the uhm... specific beds and poof! nice and healthy.

Yes, quite complex. I don't know where to look anymore. Gonna cry.
Please help.

There's 3 games I remember playing demo's of in the late 90's but can't remember their names. I think the demo discs were from PC monthly around the same time that Deus Ex and WarGames demos came out.

1. The first one is a 3rd person game where you drive around a tank in the future fighting loads of enemies. I think the intro screen had something like "Freedom fighters in the future have somehow connected their new (stolen?) super weapon to your computer and need your help in piloting the thing. there was a lot of browns and reds.

Any help would be appreciated. been driving me mad for ages! :(
I loved playing that game. Recoil is it's name i think

Hey I'm trying to think of this game I used to play on the ps2. It's a 3d side scroller where you're flying a space ship and fighting alien looking robots and such and I distinctly remember the last boss being a blob of metal that could shoot lasers out its mouth and you would have to hide in between its blob. Anybody know what this is?? Thanks

Can someone please help me out?

I remember a 2d game where you have to fight off black robot like enemies, or mechanical enemies, and you were a small warrior that fought along side more of your NPC comrades to try and kill the enemies. The distinct thing I remember is that the color scheme was black and orange. I think the enemies and allies were black with some orange, and the background was orange.

Please help! The fact that I can't remember is killing me softly.

here are two rather incomplete memories that have been bugging me for a while now (i think they would have been on an old DOS).

one was some sort of science-oriented game that involved things like circuit-building and combining floodlights of different colored lights and possibly something to do with velocity - i vaguely remember a family of green guys (and one girl) in lab coats guiding the player through, one for each area. (i also vaguely remember it having a big yellow lightning bolt on the cover?)

the other one's even more vague - i remember there being a level to do with measurements that was set in the greek olympic games, and a level to do with logic that was set in the pharaoh khufu's pyramid (which used to freak me out, because getting out of the pyramid alive was contingent on answering the riddles before the time ran out).

if anyone knows what the heck these things are, i'd appreciate the tip!

1. Arkanoid or any variation on that game

2. Asteroids. I do remember there being like an Asteriods remake and that's probably the one you are looking for.

thanks for trying but it wasn't either of them, or DX BALL The Dahaka turns out there's a crap load of breakout games, and asteroid games.

#1 was a breakout game in or before 2000 and one of the powers turned your ball just plain red making it penetrate through the bricks (not blaster ball) instead of bouncing off, and level four i distinctly remember being a regular rectangle of multicolored bricks with a pitch black back round.

#2 wasn't asteroids either :( although it sort of resembled blasteroids a sequel to asteroids, this game was much weirder with the same setting and concept, the aliens played a big part in levels later on although i cant remember what they looked like except for a blue one maybe that resembled a manta ray also i don't remember fighting enemy spaceships...................... ugh if only it was asteroids this is killing me.

Definitely sounds like Outrun, that was a great racing game.

Hi people. I'm looking for two games.
The first I think was on PlayStation 1. You played a young guy with black hair in an exaggerated quiff and you had a sort of electric whip you used to grab green robot enemies and slam them back and forth on the ground until they broke. or to throw them into a spiky mangle. You had to free little green things from captivity I think. There was also a level where you are free falling down a ventilation shaft and you had to throw enemy robots that were falling with you into the walls (also while avoiding fan blades) and after each kill he shouted first "you momma!" then "Yo grand mommas momma!". Only a short title I think it may have been a number, made into the logo. My mind wants to say something like '9' or '7'

Any Ideas?

The second is a 2D Tank Battle game that I played on an Acorn Computer. You chose your weapon from a small selection of weapons that could build or destroy terrain and damage vehicles. I think it was called 'Holocaust' or something but searching for tank games with that name on Google doesn't yield the right results.
Definitely Wild 9 for that first one.

I'm trying to remember this game from the 90s. An isometric high-quality sprite based game in which you play as a warrior or a knight type character.
I only ever played the demo for it, but in the demo you start off training in an arena with another group of knights, and after you go to your room where a girl is waiting.
You have a conversation with her about how women, or guests perhaps, are forbidden I the barracks.
Some stuff happens after that, and you end up having to leave the place to go on an epic adventure, and that's where the demo ends.

If I remember correctly, the color red plays a large part in the knights outfitting.

I need to remember a VERY old game:

Your character is a living Skeleton wearing purple medieval cloths and wielding a giant sword.
Obviously you are the bad guy and you must kill all the humans to win a level.
The action was top-down and you turn around your character trying to kill them with your sword.
If the enemies manage to kill you, your skeleton before die he screaming while bleeding in the same time until his body disappear completely.
Medievil. Definitely Medievil

Hopefully someone can help me with this one.
I used to watch my dad play a game 10+ years ago (no idea weather Gaming System or PC). You would start out in a space ship and fly from left to right on the screen (2D) and shoot things until you got to a, if i'm correct, space station. You would then get to play as a human. You would have to run all the way through the 'space station', set a bomb, or maybe just shot something, and have to get out before it exploded! I believe there was a count down timer. That's all I remember :(

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Sounds like Air Fortress for the NES.

hey guys.. i saw this post by random and thought " why dont ask around ". Im searching since several years for a specific game , its an RTS (seems tobe very little known) and i just cant find it whatever i do... i remember playing it on my old windows 95 computer with 400 mhz together with thief 1 etc. . It was a bit smiliar to starcraft , but with 4 factions, some insect thingies, robotic ones and two others, sadly cant remember them... they were good in different things like trading, military etc. asmuch as i remember.... . There were different terrains, mars like, dark and such a blueish icky stuff in one level with vulcanos on two sides i think? ( might be wrong though). Asmuch as i remember there was the possibilitie to trade with other players too using a special unit (most likely some car-tank unit thingieand i think a trading post...). You could build a base and units and stuff ( who would have thought lol). The choosing screen for a race was split into 4 pieces with every race being on one side of the screen. I think there was somekind of prophet race aswell im not sure... If any1 can tellme what game this was that really would make my day... it aint dune 3 or stuff ive already checked all of them ( they arent actually smiliar, but the graphics should be around the same time... might be wrong, or smiliarish to starcraft).

-Bump-
Try looking up M.A.X. Stands for Mechanized Assault and Exploration. Sounds like what you're after.

I played a 2D game on the macintosh where you run up ladders and try to collect gold or something, and you can dig. It's been so long since I played it so I can't remember the details very well. I think it may be called runner or something.

Another game that I've played is a flying fighter type of game for the PC, it's pretty old. When you start the game there is light voice that shouts "OKAY" before the game begins. You are a fighting plane and are supposed to shoot down enemy planes, it is a 2D game with the illusion of 3D, it looks like you're moving forward but you are not watching from above. When you take down enemy planes you get supplies or something, better weapons maybe. Then there is friendly planes that drop health and stuff, if you take them down you get penalized in a way that I can't remember, lose points maybe. Another significant thing is the song that is played while played, it's a really good guitar riff but I don't know the name of the song. The only thing that I now is that the riff is the only good part of the song.

Does anyone know the names of these games?
The first one is Lode Runner, without a doubt. Can't help with the second one.
