Hi,

Sorry I don't have much to go on at all, but would really like some help finding this game:

It's from around 1994-1997, and could be on SNES/N64/Megadrive/PS1 (or a system from that 93-7 era).

If I remember correctly there was a short right to left (maybe 2.5 or 3D?) section at the beginning, either underground or in a cave system before the game turned into a more regular platformer/side scroller.

If I recall most of it was set underground, and it was similar to Flashback/Out of this World in terms of cinematic elements but a little more arcadey (so like a mix of those and Prince of Persia/Castlevania/Abe/EW Jim [that type of platformer, but with a little more of a SF/apocalyptic feel to it]).

Again, sorry I don't have more to go on. It's a platformer I used to speed run in an hour or so, and was very good for speedrunning iirc. If I remember any more specifics I'll add in. Any help clawing this one back from the brink would be very much appreciated. :)
Pretty long shot here, but... Blackthorne [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCaGHwfugNw], maybe?

Ok, I have a few doozies for you guys, and I am sorry in advance if the descriptions are pretty vague.
My memory is full of holes and blurry images that I can barely make sense of, but I will try to describe them as best I can.

First off is a Commodore 64 game.
You are a spaceship(?) and your goal is to shoot giant bugs (Or aliens, all I can remember properly is they were big) that come down in small groups (2 or 3) from the top of the screen.
It had a really awesome soundtrack, sort of fast paced, heroic technoish music and the background was I think pure black.
I have no idea when the game was made, but I first played it roughly 1995/1996, but it's not Galaga,Insects from Space or Gaplus.

The second game I would like to know about is one for the original Gameboy.
It was a game compilation but the only game I can remember from it is one where you have to build bridges and stuff to help ants get to an exit.
I swear the compilation game was called 8 in 1 for Gameboy, but I have been searching for it for years and years and not found a single lead on it.

Third is a game from a Ps1 demo disc.
It was a horror(?) first person game where you are inside a labyrinth or a dark room, and you have to hide from I think it was a killer robot or a monster (I was pretty young at the time, so as soon as I encountered the enemy I freaked and shut off the console) and if it spotted you it was game over.

And lastly (But this one isn't really that important, just something that bugs me) is a Ps1 game that is either one of the Megaman games, or something remarkably similar.

All I remember about this one is a side scrolling game where you play as a guy with an arm cannon and could slide.
I remember one of the levels being in a city with flying robot enemies and a really hard boss battle.
Now, from the information I provided about this one, anyone would say Megaman, mostly because it absolutely screams a Megaman game, but I have watched tonnes and tonnes of Lets Plays of all the Megaman games and none of them are triggering any nostalgia from me like when I first rediscovered Legend of Legaia.

Sorry if any of the descriptions sound vague.
I'm not very good at explaining things.

I remember playing a game around 2011
*It was a first person style game that had 3d graphics or graphics like descent
It may be a shooter game or a spaceship game but I remember shooting some guns(I think its a spaceship that you control)
*Also one level started with a red room with lights coming from the floor like those old triangular shaped car lights
*later on in that stage there was a large room with extremely high roof that was mostly colored red(I guess)
*There were flying robots or monsters as enemies
*Later on in the game there is a room with a ring shaped corridor and a couple of rooms
I really hope you can guess the name (but if you can't don't worry though)

My first guess would be "Vinyl Goddess from Mars"(1995).

Hello, This is a bit of a long shot but it has literally been bugging me for years and I have very little information on the game

Im 19 and I think i remember playing this when I was 4/5/6ish, possibly on a computer but thats not definite

Right I remember what I think was a time machine and you end up in a creepy house with crooked corridors? I remember one scene where you open a door but it is locked with one of those chain lock thingys.. Thats literally all I can remember, the game had a tendency of crashing whenever I played it

Thanks aha
Perhaps it was "40 Winks"?

So I've been trying to remember the name of this game for literally years, and I can't remember for the life of me.
So basically in this game, you were this little stick figure and you had telekinesis, and you had to move boxes around to get to the other side of the obstacles. If it helps anyone, when you use the power, a blue line comes out and surrounds the box until you drop the box where you want it, and the line is blue. I played it on addictinggames.com

Anyone know the name of this game?

I've been trying to remember the game that i was playing. I think it is a maze/puzzle game where you have to unlock something(I think it is door) to move to the next maze/puzzle. the game contains a flower that if you go beside it, it will eat you. then there is a C4 and barrels. that's all I remembered.

Back on the old PlayStation 1 my brothers and I use to play an Atari game like bricks. I can not find the name of it to save my life!!! The concept was basically progressing through different levels which were bricks at the top with different shapes and pictures and as soon as the ball hit the brick it would disappear. Some bricks were special and would give the hitting thing at the bottom (which the controller would control going back and forth) special powers (make it longer or be able to shoot the bricks.) my brothers father and I progressed very high within the levels but never finished it!!!
It is bugging me like CRAZY!!!! I look forward to hearing your thoughts!!!

Hi guys,

Not much to go on for this one, but hopefully someone knows it. This has bothered me for years. I only remember seeing it once as when I was like super young at a game store.

All i remember from the trailer playing on the tv was this:

A guy (think he was an asian dude) is having a nightmare and wakes up to have these weird monsters (think they were red) in his house about to attack him. Luckily he slept with his piece and was able to kill the 2 or 3 of them. He then rushed out of his house killing a few more to the street where he met up with a girl ???? (not sure if thats correct).

I really don't know much, possibly a play station game. Hope you can help!!!

Well, since you said Atari, there's Breakout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bv4ukGdv_DY

For a non-Atari alternative, see Arkanoid Returns: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu4-cDORe2I

I can't remember when this game cam out, but I remember playing it when I was about 6 or 7

In this game you go around a school and discover that there are aliens, I believe it was an adventure click-them-up with some clever writing. It may have been an edjutainment game, I'm not sure.

I don't remember a lot of this game but if this rings a bell to anyone please get back to me.
thank you!

Hello all,
- This is one I have just never been able to find, and it's very frustrating! It was a top-down RPG sort of game. I think it was 3D graphics but then my mind always remembers old games appearing better than they actually did, so probably isometric 2D.

I remember there was a warrior-type bloke, and a sorceress-type lady. Can't remember if you played both at once or had to choose which one to play. There was a panel on the right-hand side of the screen where you could re-arrange armour and weapons and probably items, and it also contained a portrait of your character. You'd travel through maps of typical forestry/plains/mountains/towns as far as I can recall, finding items and killing monsters and stuff.
Rage of Mages 1/2, perhaps?

That's it!!! As soon as I read the name, it triggered a memory of the desktop icon being 'RoM'. Wow, never thought I'd see this game again. I've got some YouTubing to do :p thanks loads!

Sounds like Breakout, one of those simple and popular concepts that's been released on a lot of platforms and Flash sites. Apparently you can play it in Google, but for heaven's sake turn down your volume first or your family will think you're having the hardware failure of the century! (Or that R2-D2 is throwing a seizure):

Hello, I'm looking for a CD-ROM game for the computer I played in my middle school computer class. It involved you being an part of a agency, who gets a call from a father who is worried about his son who has been talking to an online stranger. This boy made these superhero comic-book puzzles on the computer, which he imaged himself as the hero, the son goes into a car with this online stranger. One of the minigames involved tracking the car license number through city cameras and a database. Eventually, the son gets taken to an area in California to help him with his business. It had something to do with being located on a beach, photographing kids in very uncomfortable ways. One of the last things you do is play a minigame to find the address, and afterwards the ending involved the kidnapper trying to escape with the kidnapped son on a boat to Mexico, and he gets caught while the son returns home and the game ends. I really want to find the name of the game, I've been looking for this game for years and Google hasn't helped me at all. I'm hoping someone here can find the name, thank you in advance.
(Edit): I found the game, it's called MISSING, a computer game meant to teach kids to avoid online predators, so just ignore this post then.

Can someone PLEASE help me find this game I used to play when I was a kid?
It was a Windows XP game.
I remember there were like little furry balls that were like little monsters. There were many of them and like 4 different colours. You had to group them by colour and save them, the longer the line of little furry things the more points you got (I think). I don't remember what was it that sometimes cut the line and made the little things go all over the place again. You had to drive them through a sort of maze, one colout at a time (I think), I'm not so sure. I remember something about electricity maybe. The name was something like frenzy, fuzzy or something like that. Maybe one or two words, I'm not sure either.
I hope you can help me!! I'd really appreciate it!

Hey guys , awesome thread! I have a long shot over here...All I remember is : 2D game, you choose between a wizard and a warrior.Everything happens underground(or so i remember it) you fight some little things, collect items and thats pretty much it. Its one screen and once you reach the end of it you move to another screen. And the last thing I remember is the music was VERY smooth and calming.
I'm pretty sure I played it on XP, but it might be an older game.
Hope you can help me out, been searching for years and nothing...Thank you!

Hello guys!

There is this RTS-Game i played few years ago!

-it had quite good graphics
-i don't really know which units you were playing (maybe knights)
-you could freeze the game but you were still able to use "god-powers" or to set constructions
-there was this one mission, you had to hold yourself against the enemies (maybe the last mission), you had to defeat a demon-like monster, this was REALLY hard to do as he had SO MUCH HP! You could exploit a bug, i think it would be like that:
freeze the game, and spam your god-powers, they would go on cooldown but not if you froze the timer! (something like that)

I hope this was enough information!

Thanks in advance!

Tons of childhood memories coming to life with this forum. I love it. Okay I got one for ya. I feel like it was a ps1 or sega Dreamcast game. It was a sorta rpg/kill everything in the level kinda game. Had an overhead veiw kinda scroller type. I remember as soon as you start a new game you walk forward and there a bunch of different colored locked worlds on this bridge. Kinda rmemeber a large gate on this bridge? Anyways there was only one color world you can walk onto and enter. After you beat it another would unlock on the bridge. I think u could choose between like a sword guy or magic or ranger. First level or two you walk into like a lower level and have to fight a bunch of creatures. Then hit a switch to activate to move to the right. That's all I remember. Edit. It might not be a bridge I now feel like you start out in a castle and walk to the balcony that has the world's needing to be unlocked.
