Hi all, trying to remember an old arcade game from the early/mid 90's.

It's a first-person shooter, but not with a mounted gun, just move a cursor with the joystick. It's also a sort of side-scroller, in that the view slowly pans to the side as you go.

It's an alien invasion theme. Basically you choose a character or two from a group, you go to a location (ex. a grocery store) and start shooting aliens with Ghostbusters-style laser beams (they don't "grab" aliens but destroy them outright). Your beams can destroy other stuff in the background.

The animation and color schemes are sort of comic book-ish, bright simple colors.

Something that struck me as unique about the game was the sound effects. For all the lasers flying and explosions happening the sounds were rather quiet. I don't remember if there was music or not, but I don't think so.

That's all I can remember. Hope someone can help!

I'm looking for a game that I used to play on the PC in the late 90s, I assume it came out early/mid 90s. You flew around and shot lasers, I cannot remember the main aim of the game. The first level had plains and mountains and enemies that looked like robots rolling around on one wheel. The first boss you flew down a long tunnel and fought this giant machine that I think looked vaguely like a human. One level I vividly remember is a city of skyscrapers and the enemy fighter craft could go from flying horizontally to flying straight up the side of the skyscrapers vertically. Very pixellated and I think the name was something like MS Hunter 2 but I'm only 50% sure about the name.

Hello all,

I'm trying to remember the name of a game we had for (I think) the Amiga.

You'd be looking at what appears to be a New York style building, and you had to shoot enemies appearing at windows before they shot you.

May have also included hostages which you had to avoid shooting, too.
Reminds me of the target range level of Robocop 2.

Same idea, but had more windows in view and was deffo a standalone game.

As for me I would marry the person to tell me the name of this game. I've looked EVERYWHERE for this goddamn game, i mean everywhere!!

Its a racing game a lot like Rollcage but it had different colorful chars that you could pick from, and those chars had cars to match them. Depending on the char/car you got diff powerups, like one car could shoot, one could use shields and the purple one had spikes coming from the tiers. I'm not 100% sure but I think its for gamecube?? I could be wrong, but it had really great music and nice different (not-so-long) circuits, usually 3-5 laps being the norm.
And yeah it was a lot like rollcage, you could go upside down and jump and such. And im not sure but there was at least 1 girl, the others were guys? Someone pls;;;
It could possibly be "Firebugs".
So when's the wedding? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I've been searchin for this for god knows how long, thankyou thankyou!!!!

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can help me remember the name of an old game, I used to play it on PC, like 10 years ago maybe, it was sort of like a platformer.
It's a really small game, you only had the view of 2 or maybe 3 floors of the house, plus an attic maybe. I don't remember the main goal of the game, but I remember that you always needed to hide inside the house (like inside the closet or the bathroom), and someone (a resident, like the dad or someone) would try to find you.
It was a bit colorful, and sort of cartoonish, there was also a dog or a cat inside the house as well; I'm not sure though.

Any help at all would be great, Thanks!

Hello everyone, I'm been trying to remember a game that I used to rent. I believe that it was either for xbox or ps2 (heck it could even be playstation for all I know.)

The most that I can remember is the following:

You go around and try to conquer forts/castles in order to find clues to a map to find a treasure. Command groups of units/monsters (trolls, ogres, demons, dragons, skeletons, spearman, archers and many others). it costs money to keep troops around (better the troop, the more money it costs). You have to leave a group of troops behind to protect the fort/castle. I believe that when you are actually in battle, it's almost like a turn based combat system in which one troop attacks at a time. Once you find enough of the clues to reveal the map, you search and dig up the treasure.

I hope that this is not too vague of a description. I remember renting it at family video (early 2000s i think), and I can't find it anywhere.

Thank you all for your help

Thank you so much, I used to love that game when I rented it

I'm trying to find the name of a coin-op arcade game I played about 28 years ago around 1988. It was a 3D space game where you were flying a ship through various set-pieces where enemy ships would fly at you in waves, always moving in the same patterns, so that if you played the game enough you could plan your sequence of shots to kill the enemy ships. You couldn't steer the ship either, it always flew the same path. The graphics were impressive for the time. One enemy ship stood out - a large flying white or silver ship with it's bow shaped like a face, which basically flew slowly in a straight line right at you, then past you on your right, without firing at you, and which took a lot of shots to destroy (I guess, I never actually managed to destroy it even when focusing exclusively on killing it ). I think the game was one player only, the player sat in the cabinet. It was one of the more expensive games of the time, maybe $1.00 or $1.50 per play. It had the same payment mechanic as the Area 51 coin-op game - if you took too many hits, you had to add coins to continue.

Hi guys,

I am looking for an old game I played on PC about 10 years ago.
The player(s) controlled a builder in some skyscraper and had to build small sections of walls. At some point you coud grab a hammer and break other player's walls. At some point you had to fight enemies on motorbikes. You could also throw mortar at them.

It was a 2D platform game for Windows 98 I guess.

Any clues?

Hi all,

need your help to find one title i used to play on PC when I was ca. 10 years old, so around the late 90s (same time of AoE II i think).
What I know:
The setting was +- in medieval time (sure)
I was controlling a guy in third person (almost sure)
It was an adventure with enigmas (almost sure)
It was point-and-click with inventory and usual stuff and I think I was able to move the guy where I wanted to.

I don't recall any other info, hope these are enough. I'm really getting crazy searching for this one.

Thanks to all

Hello there =)

I am desperately looking for a game but can't find it. Could you guys help me? =D
It's a fps game I was playing on windows XP around 2000-2005 I think. It was in a futuristic environment. Maybe inside a software or something, like Tron. I remember blueish environment too. Was the game always in that color? I don't have a clue. I remember when I was killing the bad guys they were vanishing in small cubes or something, like they were disintegrating.

Thank you for your help =)

Hmm, not too much info, so I'll just start by pulling out titles out of my butt.

Was it maybe "King's Quest 8"?

I can't remember the name of this game. If I remember correctly it is an arcade machine game. It is played with a joystick and buttons. I believe it has a scene of an with an offsore oil rig and cargo ship. I think there are fight scenes in the kitchen and in a living room. You can pick up items like a gun, knife, piece of meat, and wooden poles to attack with. In one of the transitional scenes you have to move a joystick or oush a button to kick person into a room that if you would fail you would have to fight in.

That is what I can remember right now, anything else I can remember I will post.

Thanks.

Hello!

Close, but still don't think that's it! I recall it being quite colourful and seeing more windows on screen!
