Hello there =)

I am desperately looking for a game but can't find it. Could you guys help me? =D
It's a fps game I was playing on windows XP around 2000-2005 I think. It was in a futuristic environment. Maybe inside a software or something, like Tron. I remember blueish environment too. Was the game always in that color? I don't have a clue. I remember when I was killing the bad guys they were vanishing in small cubes or something, like they were disintegrating.

Thank you for your help =)
but that's exactly what happens in

Tron 2.0 (2003)

I don't think there is another game with the enemies disintegrating into small cubes...

Hi! :) I'm trying to find a game but I have looked everywhere and I can't find it.

-It's a shoot-em up game I believe was included in the eMac software (or in the software of similar models of macs). I controlled some kind of war aircraft and pressed keys to shoot at other planes that came from the higher part of the screen.

-each level was named after a classical important battle name

-it must have been released between 2000 and 2004 or so? but im not sure

-it was similar to the old versions of skyforce, but with a little bit older graphics (not so much though)

-there were enemy planes that shot small yellow balls of light and also enemy tanks and other stuff on the ground that shot at your plane

-I think that in the top of your plane there was a green sphere that went dark if you died

-Two people could play on the same computer

-the different levels' landscapes (the ground) included deserts, water, jungles, forests...

I'm sorry I can't give any more data because I don't remember so much:( i was pretty little when I played this, it would help so much if any of you remembered this!
Thanks so much for the help :)

Thank you for your answer but I recall being able to only use a gun.

I made an account just to ask this question. There's a.. I want to say it is an RTS game that I played a number of years ago. Nothing too fancy on the graphics side - top down view for the map, sprites for characters and such. Basically you had a castle that constantly generated units.. and you could designate those units to move to certain spots, to either block a tile or just stack up (more units meant stronger 'army', and as you got more in the stack the 'icon' for the army would change). The goal was to attack and destroy the castles of the other players. I think you were able to build farms and such with your army stacks, which would improve the number of units constantly generated at your castle, but I can't be too sure.

The only thing besides that that I can remember 100% for sure is one of the levels or 'scenarios' had everybody's castle as a like, fast food joint. And your soldiers were small fries, then became big fries when the stacks got big enough, and then a hamburger.

Anybody have any idea what game I'm talking about?
Could be Heroes of Might and Magic ?
Nope, wasn't HoMM. The battles were all done on the same map as the movement - basically you'd move a guy into another stack and they'd start fighting and losing 'numbers' that were the amount of units they had. And it was pretty fast.. you didn't actually specify what units to build, they just kinda popped out of the castle or the farms, if I recall correctly.

I also think the game was free, if that helps narrow it down some. It is fairly old, I want to say at least 5 years or more.
Hate to be that guy. And I asked this back on page.. 200 something. There's so many pages. Anybody? I want to say it started with a W? maybe? But damn. I can't remember. Also it'd be like... 8-12 years old, now.

Hello there.
There are several old games I want to remember the names of.

1. There was a shooter game where you could use bows or crossbows. I think it was 1st person and I think was not an rpg. The setting was some old city wity strange creatures and at some point you had to save a kid locked in a cage. I also remember that you could hear the kid calling you.

2. There was an adventure/rpg (I don't remember) where you were outside of a castle. It was 3rd person I think. It was at dusk and as you were approaching castle's gate, it was night outside. You could see the stars. Also there was a lake at your right and you could swim and find something (a chest/treasure?). At some point you would fight 1-2 guys which had swords.

3. It was a hardware clone of the Nintendo Famicom game. It was a horror game where you would go inside a house where were closed caskets on the floor and the guy inside would push the hand through the wood and hurt you.

Thank you a lot.

This is driving me crazy because I can't find any dang information on this game. It was for the ps2, it was 3d, and it was on a demo disc. I only played the demo and you start off in a snowy area and you need to do some platforming and find a key card to get into this building that I think was a lab. You have to find more key cards to move forward and I think you get a gun? There were monsters and I remember there being this boss one I could never beat. Any help is greatly appreciated <3

Hi everyone, not sure if anyone is able to help but here is some info.

Definite:
- Point and Click Game.
- Set on a ship, possibly pirate ship.
- Main protagonist is a male child.
- Fixed camera perspective.
- Had realistic (for its time), not cartoony graphics

Possibly:
- Had a ghostly villain
- Expanded beyond that setting after the first part of the game.
- Was released late 90's, more likely early to mid 2000's

Played it as a child and have fond memories of it, but I guess playing it today could possibly destroy those memories! Would be nice to know the name of it though.

I can't remember the name of this game. If I remember correctly it is an arcade machine game. It is played with a joystick and buttons. I believe it has a scene of an with an offsore oil rig and cargo ship. I think there are fight scenes in the kitchen and in a living room. You can pick up items like a gun, knife, piece of meat, and wooden poles to attack with. In one of the transitional scenes you have to move a joystick or oush a button to kick person into a room that if you would fail you would have to fight in.

That is what I can remember right now, anything else I can remember I will post.

Thanks.
Never mind figured it out it is Dynamite Cop. It is a cruise ship.

Can't find anywhere the Battlefield type of game that was set in an island, had day and night time transition and it was released at a similar time as Battlefield 2. It was an awesome sandbox kind of game with big maps as I remember with lots os helis and boats fights.

Please let me know the name.

Hey everyone,

I have a tough one (maybe impossible) from 1991. I've searched for articles online with various keywords, but alas no luck.

Here is the jist:
-Year 1991
-Online (required telnet over Internet IP (pre-WWW))
-Played it at college (University of Arkansas) if this helps
-Text-based MUD style
-Post-apocalyptic theme
-Used a grid (10x10 or so) to represent the terrain you moved through. Like a bird's eye veiw. Red R's were radiation zones for example.
-You built a base, upgraded security features, storage, etc. And could only save game inside your base.
-In an encounter with a mob your success or failure to hit was based on stopping a scrolling cursor as it passed numbers on line. You were given a random number from 1-5 with an ^ in superscript or subscript. Superscript meant the "to hit" line would count up. Subscript meant it would count down.

So, for example you would be shown a 4^ onscreen with a 3-5 second pause. Then the cursor would begin scrolling across the screen revealing this: .....1.....2.....3.....4.....5 and your goal was to press the space bar within a couple of periods of the given number. The higher level you were the faster the scroll. Also, the better you were with a weapon, the more periods you could miss by and still successfully hit your target. Also, you got a bonus for hitting right on the number.

Anyway, I've never seen a game take the players ability to hit into account like this and would love to find it on some throwback server out there.

Can anyone help?

-Will
Its amazing how active and how long this thread is. Sadly it's not looking too good for this one though. Any pointers for my continued search?

Hello guys,
I'm also looking for an old PC game I just can't find.
I remember playing a game about 10 years ago. In this game you would be flying an aircraft in 3D shooting lazers and destroying enemy aicraft and bases (radars, hangars, .. ) and crystals would come out of destroyed enemies. You would collect these crystals and upgrade your lazers, adding more guns, etc based on the order and color of collected crystals.
You could also shoot the landscape basically making holes and ditches in mountains.
You would start each mission on a mothership and have to land back in it to end the mission.
Thanks!

Just a wild guess: Mercenaries 2: World in Flames?

EDIT: Just took a look at release dates, and Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction is much closer to Battlefield 2's release date

Hey Detectives,

I'm looking for a game that was on a multiplayer game site circa late 90s early 2000s. I remember the site being unique because it was set in a castle and all the rooms in the castle were different multiplayer games you could play against other people, and you had to walk in first-person mode to get from room to room. The site had quite a few classic games like chess, checkers, etc. but also had a few original games, one of which is the game I'm trying to remember.

Here's what I remember about the game:

It was a 1v1 turn-based strategy game where players took turns commanding a variety of units. I remember that there were a few different races, like mech, alien, and possibly others? I also remember that there was a big luck element, either in what units you got (possibly random spawn?) as well as how combat worked (I believe it showed % of success against potential targets.)

That's basically all I remember, would love to know if anyone remembers either the game or even the name of the site (I feel like it was something simple like castlegames.com, but googling that obviously didn't work.)

Thanks in advance for any mental energy spent!

Hi guys,
I`m looking for a PSone (maybe even PS2, not too sure about it) game that i played like 12-15 years ago i think.
At the beginning of the game you could choose between a male or female character and then got right into the game. It was pretty RPG-like, the main characters were kids or teenagers and it involved magic as well i think and had something to do with "memories".
You could play the game from both their perspectives as far i remember.

Well, im not sure if the following description is the one that fits with the stuff i wrote right over here, so it may be possible that im looking for two games now without even knowing it :D

The game started in a village. You were looking from the bird`s eye view. In the centre of the village was a huge tree which gave the city some kind of life force if i remember it correctly. Soon the tree became some kind of corrupted and the village got a attacked by monsters/demons. The fighting system was like FF, a typical role playing fight. You had to chose your attack and your character did it afterwards. It involved some kind of magic as well i think which you could learn after some time. Well, after you defended your village you decided to leave it in order to find something to save the tree and your village.

That`s all i can remember, sadly.

Hey guys. Just remembered a flash game i used to play about in 2006-2008. Not much that i remember from it, but here it is:
The game intro would start with the Queen - Bicycle race song. A guy, in red shirt/sweatshirt would be riding a bike, then killed or something like that(Remember that there was blood at the intro). Later on, you walk through a forest, there's a witch house or something alike there. It was one of the scary games. Didn't really have anything to do with bicycles i think :D. Can't really remember anything else. Would love if someone knew what i was talking about. I'll try to remember more details if thats whats needed. Thank you!

Nevermind :D Found the game!! It was Fred's adventure.

Does anyone remember a pc game from 2000-2003 with little men living in a house and everyone has a function, e.g. to cook in the kitchen. The target is to have as my little men as possible to send to the enemy's house. When you put a little man trough the roof of the enemy's house, one enemy man gets out and little by little you take over the house and win the level. Each level is on a different continent. When the level is on a cold continent, the little men are dressed with blue little coats (red for the enemies) and the terrain is snowy. On the other continents they are dressed with blue/red union suits. Also they can get wings and fly to the enemy's house, if it is on another island and the houses are separated by water.

That could also have been the "Delta Force" spin-off "Joint Operations" (2004).
