As for Mastercheif, he probz looks like some generic milatary guy. Short hair & a frown.

I'm hoping that that is what they want you to think, then he pulls off his helmet and looks deformed like Darth Vader. I'd relate to him more than I would if he was just another Marcus Fenix or Chris Redfield.

I always expected the Master Chief and for that matter ALL spartans to be Human/Elite mashups as in him having many Elite features like a split jaw,
unfortunatly the books and non main games have jossed that thory.

Master Chief would have been so much more likable if he was a mute. I guess he partially is one of those "fill in the character yourself" type of protagonist, Gordon Freeman style. But since he speaks that kind of turns him from a blank slate to a very bland character

According to my friend Chef was already described in the books. He has oily brown hair and freckles.

Yes, John looked like that...when he was six years old.

We're never really given a definitive description for what he looks like circa 2552, but the novel The Flood tells us a bit. He has "short hair with serious eyes, a firm mouth, and a strong jaw." His skin is also rather pale for spending most of his time in the MJOLNIR armor.

As for Gordon Freeman, I like to think of him as a mute savant.

Yeah, Master Chief's most odd characteristic is that he's very pale, seeing that he almost never takes off that helmet. Aside from his face, he also has that, extra-tall, super-muscled physique going on.

That's because Spartans were physically superior children who were kidnapped and then put through a series of physical enhancements. All the IIs are at least 7 feet. Besides, he's kind of shrimpy compared to some other Spartans like Jorge.

As for Master Chief...I don't really care. Never have been a Halo fan, but perhaps that's because it takes three years for each release to hit PC. Just for shits and giggles, though, I'd entertain the thought that MC is really Freeman on off days, just trying to relax.
