Chrono Trigger, god I could sit In the inn and just listen to that chick play the theme on the piano for an hour.
If I was honest and said I can never get into Metroid games (be it an original or one of the Primes), would you still recommend Castlevania?hyperhammy said:It's basicly an open world game in 2D where you find different powers to get to new areas. I love it! Incidentally the only other 2 long haul flights I've been on (14 hours and 9 hours) have both been covered by a different flavour of Advance Wars (2 and then DS) - if you get it new before you set off the flight'll fly by![]()
You should also try Castlevania and Professor Layton. Lots of fun!
If I could plug in my laptop I would just get UFO: Extratsomethingother gold edition. xDNever played Castlevania before - whats it like?

I've never played prime, but if you don't like the gamplay of Super Metroid it's probably not the game for you. If you however don't like the future sci-fi setting the fantasy setting could prove interesting.Snork Maiden said:If I was honest and said I can never get into Metroid games (be it an original or one of the Primes), would you still recommend Castlevania?hyperhammy said:It's basicly an open world game in 2D where you find different powers to get to new areas. Yep, this. Chrono Trigger is a superb and immersive game. Although I would need to beat the boss I'm stuck on.HeySeansOnline said:Chrono Trigger, god I could sit In the inn and just listen to that chick play the theme on the piano for an hour.

You sure? Usually I need to space out my advance wars playing with a couple other games once I hit a brick wall, I feel it helps me do it with a clear head.Liberaliter said:Advance Wars, any of them. They are so addictive and fun to play. That or Pokemon, or even Tetris. I find that if you have a lot of time to fill and you need to play a game, a simple one will do best.
Must.hyperhammy said:To be honest I absolutely HATE pokémon. xDLightspeedJack said:Pokemon, can't go wrong.
Which one, I'm stuck on Lavos' final form. Fucking hell that is a hard boss battle.tomtom94 said:Yep, this. Chrono Trigger is a superb and immersive game.
