'Fraid not. I'm poor. I just have a shitlot of free time. All of my games are gifts.hyperhammy said:You must have a lot of time and a shit load of money.Lemon Detective said:Tetris or Final Fantasy 3 are the way to go buddy.
And to be honest, I hate pokemon too, but that doesn't stop me from playing it.
I find it a handy way of killing time.![]()
my hatred stems to that one day i somehow left my gameboy in an esky, my copy of pokemon gold not only lost it's save (and my level 9ty'something ho-oh) but lost its ability TO save. so i'll never go back, and i can't be arsed with the remake.hyperhammy said:To be honest I absolutely HATE pokémon. xDLightspeedJack said:Pokemon, can't go wrong.
As far as customization goes, there is a ton of stuff to make using alchemy to customize your characters. There is also a WiFi shop that is updated daily and sometimes has special equipment. Then of course you get to pick all your characters' classes (of which there are 12), appearances and weapon specializations.sheah1 said:I've been wondering about this, so just a couple questions:HSIAMetalKing said:Dragon Warrior IX was released recently, and it's awesome. Is the customisation as good as they say it is? Are their many side-quests, guilds, or anything like that? And finally how big or long is it?
On a 12 hour flight? That's a hell of a lot of Tetris.Breaker deGodot said:I'd do Tetris, hands down.
Nice, much obliged, I'll have to put it in my appointment book..... Seriously, I have an epic backlog right now, I'll pick it up once I fall back in love with the DS again though.HSIAMetalKing said:As far as customization goes, there is a ton of stuff to make using alchemy to customize your characters. There seem to be an endless number of sidequests-- many NPCs in-game give you quests and lots of them have multiple stages. Plus sometimes there will be a special quest released through the WiFi shop. And then you have Random Dungeons, which there are literally an endless number of-- they also tend to have fancy special equipment drops.
So far I've played 40 hours and haven't beaten the main game, although I think I may be close (you can never really be sure with Dragon Warrior games because after I beat what I think is the final boss I'll probably be thrown into the DARK REALM or something). From what I hear there is a shitton of stuff to do in the post-game, and a few classes that can't even be unlocked until then.
I'm very pleased with my purchase of this game, I can tell you that much. Lots of stuff to do.
Oh yes.boredpulmonologist said:I'd try the World Ends With You. It's challenging and will last you the ten hours.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is another good one.

Peggle is on DS... Is that actually a good game or is it just really addictive like most casual games?Susan Arendt said:Dragon Quest IX, Peggle, Puzzle Quest, Professor Layton, Mario & Luigi
