One pokemon in real life.

Giratina. No one would mess with me when I've got a spider dragon ghost thing with wings standing behind me. Either that or Alakazam because he seems pretty chill and powerful.
i'd imagine one would want to satisfy as many of the following criteria as possible when selctinthere pokemon for reasons outlined below
flying, big enough to fly on. because you know you want to fly
breath fire/ lightning/ ice. pretty dam useful to be able to summon energy from nowhere
cute/fluffy/freindly. for picking up girls.
possible emotional attachment. we all think slamance is just well, shit so dont choose him.
good in battle. it needs to hold its own if other people start getting there own pokemon aswell
so baring all this in mind i would choose

Altaria, it can fly, sing sweetly, its a PILLOW, and teach it flamthrower, and you got almost every thing you need. Travel. Fire power. Status effects.
Espeon. Small enough to take around with me, normal-looking enough to where I could probably convince people it was just an exotic cat (assuming they didn't see the tail), and it's freakin' psychic. I think having a psychic around with you would just have incredible utility.

Dragonite hands down for me. It's a big freakin dragon. If not him, then Charizard same reason. The difference is, that Dragonite won't accidentally set you on fire by being near its tail.
