Arcanine is a definite consideration...

I guess it boils down to do I want a pet, a friend, or a kickass pokemon?

Pet: Probably Arcanine.
Friend: Mewtwo or Alakazam. We'd puzzle out the universe together.
Kickass: Charizard. Charmader is always my starter in Red Version.

Proably a Blazakin. What's better then having a super powerful kick boxing body guard?

I chose him mainly because Blazakin was perhaps my favorite out of all of them back when I did play the games. First to reach Lvl100 and I must have beat the elite 4 with him alone 60+ times.

That would be cool but the MR. Mime Mr Mime Mr Mime ect.. would get very annoying very fast.

I would say Mewtwo, but that just feels a bit cheap. Therefore I am going with Alakazam because I could read minds and if need be, I could use his telekinetic powers. I owuld also use those powers to impress chicks. Don't know how that would work, but I could find a way.
