Opinions on "Family Guy"

It confuses me when someone complains about Family Guy being offensive and then people respond with, "Oh, well they make fun of everybody. They aren't bias."

It makes me wonder what the hell these people are watching. There is a clear cut bias in the Family Guy plot that no body can dispute. They devote entire episodes to the bashing of anything Seth McFarlane's political views. Practically 70% of Family Guy's jokes are totally political.

I love it. Its an easy-going show that I can watch at night when Im ready to relax. Some of the comedy is absolutely hilarious, at least in my eyes and at the very least it keeps my attention.
Better than most of the crap on tv.

I like the slapstick and absurdist humor in it if I just want to watch something stupid, But Seth's Leftist views play too big a part in the show to often for me to condone it.

I agree with what seems to be the general consesus that Family Guy is not as good as it once was. I still enjoy the later episodes some though. I haven't given up on it like I have with The Simpsons.

Complete and utter shit. Nothing but cut-away jokes and pop culture references,not to mention most no all of the characters are unlikeable stereotypes of american culture. Terrible show, not entertaining unintelligent and a disgrace to cartoons as an artisic medium.

OT: I love Family Guy and it goes from gag to gag to gag faster than normal with an ADHD like personality, but thats why I love it it fits me so well. I can't get enough of the randomness of the show.

I think it was rubbish at the start and even worse now. It's just The Simpsons ripped off by someone who doesn't really understand how humour works.

I'm going to go against the crowd and say that I like what they're doing with the show. The jokes seem more fluid and less awkward to the scene.

They're also selecting references for their jokes that more people will know and a huge rule in comedy is that if people understand the reference, they will laugh, whether or not the joke is funny.

The old episodes are great, never saw it though lately, if its on I'll watch whats left of it.
