I nicked mine from Warhammer. The Drakenhof familly were the familly Vlad Von Carstein married into, took over and turned into vampires before showing the Empire what he was really like. It's a really interesting backstory and so I named my WoW main Vondrakenhof (an undead warlock) and I've been using it ever since.

At the time, I was obsessed with William S Burroughs and his writing, especially the novel 'Cities of the Red Night'. In that book Ix Tab is mentioned. She's the patron saint of pirates, suicides, and people who were hanged. She ferried them to the afterlife by their nooses.

Understand that I was a teenage girl, and that sort of shit makes them go wild. And after a while, I didn't mind about it's hilarious poser beginnings. I've been ix_tab on the net for nearly a decade. A good name sticks around.

For awhile I was T'Klesh Learnu but I don't remember where that one came from.

My old steam account was NoMoulah, becuase... Well, I had no moulah. =D It's my little brother's Counter-Striking account now though... -shakes head-
