Which brings another point, how come I only joined a short while ago but I could get this username? I would think it would be fairly common in the gaming community...

I started playing online around about the same time I was playing Ratchet and Clank 3, and was loving the games latest two-fingered salute to physics - the Rift Inducer, a gun which has a strange habit of creating wormholes out of nowhere. And the name's stuck since.

Funny thing, if I'd waited another couple of hours before picking a name, I might have wound up being called Riftripper (the upgraded version of the Rift Inducer). But I doubt it, it doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

I used a dictionary on the internet that translates my language to English and vice versa, thought of a cool word that came to my mind, and typed it in there.
The word I thought of means "charged up", "charged", "electric", "fraught", "laden" and "loaded".

I just thought Fraught was the best of those two use as a username.
I know what "fraught" means and everything, but I liked it, and many people have told me that I have a clever username, so I've kept it.

I'm a Scorpio. Thought I'd make it a little special, and swapped the S with a Z.
Worked out pretty well, I'm pretty much alone about it both in games and in online communities.

My friend gave me this name and told me it was a type of German or Soviet bullet. But later when I tried to do my own research on it and find it, nothing. I think my friend is a liar, but name was still pretty cool. Everyone does think that it comes from metal gear but I have never played it so I don't know what they're talking about.
Also there's a cat with a similar name but spelled differently.
And TH stand for Trigger Happy, it's the name of my paintball store.

I've had this user name since back in the DARPA days. When I was in college.

Then, the first time I got the chance to use it on the Internet, it was for Medievia the MUD after I quit programming from them and turned over the name Ozymadeus to my successor.

It's been 15+ years as McClaud (or EmCeeKhan).

Time to earn my Nerd point. It was the name of my DnD char. He had one ice blue eye and one star yellow eye. Endded up becoming my IRL nickname.

Mine's a handle that I have been using for years. Kind of came about from partially a nickname and partially something else that must have been about a the time. Its quite random but I think it works.
