"Another robot? Don't tell me. It's one of Doctor Carter's things." She was hardly a robot engineering expert, but she'd seen enough robots to know that if you shoot the head off, it dies. Or was that zombies? Eh, tomato, tomarta. They all explode the same. She looked around, siting good spots to shoot from. A small wall made enough cover. She opted for dual magnums as her weapon, an all round favourite for action heroes. 2W began prioritizing it's first target from the air. Threewords was the obvious choice. It swooped at him, in a style reminiscent to 3W and herself during their first encounter.
Will he follow the Laws? As in, he'll wholly ignore Catherine until she exhibits signs of powers?
With a roar, a shape flew overhead, trailing a burning tail like a comet. It curved in the sky, then looped and came back toward the building. It stopped, 3 meters from the edge of the roof, and there stood 2W.
The combat root stood 8 feet tall, shaped like a muscled man, but all flat surfaces and sharp edges. His face was immobile, no more than sculpted steel, and his eyes glowed in the night.
It let out a weird whispering noise, but ThreeWords held up a hand.
"Speak as humans do," he said, calmly, "For a woman is present, and she would benefit from understanding.
The robot nodded slightly toward Catherine. When he spoke, it was with an eerie, metallic tone. The words were those of men, but it was plain they had never been formed by vocal chord, tongue or lip.
"Very well. You were misguided to alter your programing. Dr Carter has instructed me to deactivate you, and return with your severed head, and if you were not malfunctioning, you would remove it yourself bu her command. How do you react?"
ThreeWords did not answer, but picked up the guitar and plugged it into his input slot
"Answer!" came the robot's voice again. "Has your corruption spread so far as to impede you speech?"
"No, brother" replyed ThreeWords. 2W jerker at the word, saying "We are robots. How can we have silings?"
"I am more than a just robot now, 2W, and as you created along side me, are you not my brother?"
"You have gone too far! I will destroy you now!" bellowed 2W, lunging forward.
2W jets threw him forward, but ThreeWords was faster, his hands came down on the guitar. "System of a Down" he whispered, and his hands blurred, and though he sang no words, out came 'Bounce', played at thrice speed.
Right on cue, 2W bounced off nothing, and, faster than the eye could follow, ThreeWords changed tune, switching to 'Needles'. From nowhere, foot long spikes appeared and launched forward, forcing 2W to duck and roll in the air.
The song finished, but the echoes had not faded before ThreeWords began a third song, 'Attack'. This time, he sang.
As he reached the chorus, he leapt at 2W, who had recovered from the needles. They came together, ThreeWords dwarfed by the massive robot. But the song echoed from nowhere, and suddenly ThreeWords swung, smashing 2W into the floor.
He dived after him, to press the attack, but 2W fired his jets, flipping him over to bring his fist straight for ThreeWords' face. Even in mid air, ThreeWords swayed, and the blow flew past.
2W landed upright, and ThreeWords came down in front of him. But rather than crash together, they remained still, both twitching, making tiny movements like the birth of attacks, but never once did they touch

She stayed behind cover, but stared out for a moment. A look of confusion spread across her face. At first, she struggles to find words. "Threewords... You aren't actually HITTING him... What are you doing?"
ThreeWords doesn't look up, but he grins and speaks
"This is what someone on the design team called 'minimalist combat'. Both I and 2w are trying to attack, but when one makes a move, the other reacts almost instantaneously. The first reacts to the new move, and so on and so forth. However, He cannot fight us both like this. If you were to open fire on him..."

as mister terrible and the others neared closer they saw a loud crash and two bodies fighting as they neared the brawl the tracker was beeping at a rapid rate.
"everybody halt" mister terrible stopped dead in his tracks and the others did the same,mister terrible turned to face the others.
"okay people I have a plan me and ray will take the surrounding roof tops and provide projectile support Harold Larry and Bart you take the ground and surround the two robots everybody be ready to strike on my signal" mister terrible announced walking towards the door of one of the buildings.
"what`s the signal" larry asked. mister terrible turned back to the group.
"okay when I tell ray to play the opening riff of ironman that is when you strike got it now everybody get into position" mister terrible said turning back to the building to get to the rooftop.
"everybody halt" mister terrible stopped dead in his tracks and the others did the same,mister terrible turned to face the others.
"okay people I have a plan me and ray will take the surrounding roof tops and provide projectile support Harold Larry and Bart you take the ground and surround the two robots everybody be ready to strike on my signal" mister terrible announced walking towards the door of one of the buildings.
"what`s the signal" larry asked. mister terrible turned back to the group.
"okay when I tell ray to play the opening riff of ironman that is when you strike got it now everybody get into position" mister terrible said turning back to the building to get to the rooftop.
"Ah. Gotcha." She raised both hands, and started circling round to have an easy shot at 2W. Wait? I open fire on him, and he figures out I'm dangerous. I'd just become the prey again... I'll have to make sure this gets him killed.She switched to Uzis, in the hope that Threewords would be out of the firing range, and took aim.
"Hmm. System Of A Down, not bad but if I manage to combine my knife with my music I can do better" said ray while going through his iPod to pick the appropriate song.
As Ray got onto a roof top of a surrounding building he waited looking at the fight, he almost couldnt wait to start again.

Heh, funny how 2W went to your control, ThreeWords, but I guess since you kinda "invented" it, it's fair. Doesn't prevent me from using Dr. Carter though.

Wolf and Fox had already assumed tactical position, situated at one of the roofs of the skyscrapers overlooking 3W and his companion. Wolf had installed his sniper on the rail and Fox was setting the rapid fire option ready.
"You ready for this? It's better to take out some of those freaks... even the commander doesn't trust in our recent "allies", so it's better to do it by ourselves, eh?"
"Just get your sniper ready and I'll get my feeding solution done."
Wolf smiled at Fox and took position, aiming at the battlefield. He saw 2W... looks like that robot had been deployed. He always had always liked that robot's AI. It was good in chess.
He zoomed over to Catherine and saw her pointing her hands at 2W. Soldier in danger!, he thought, quickly aiming at the hands and pulling the trigger twice.

Dr. Carter flexed her blue arm. The nanotech seemed to work flawlessly, as she had presumed. She went to the console and looked at the screen.
"Huh, looks like 2W did get launched. Even better, that one should get 3W done for."
She stopped for a moment. The idea of sending 1W to back 2W... no. It would be far too dangerous. Besides, 1W was still a beta version and she didn't want her best creation to get scratched in the battlefield.
Dr. Carter tapped a few commands and her arm started glowing blue. Nanobots furiously spun around it, creating a blueish glow, which soon enveloped Dr. Carter whole.
She disappeared.

Sorry, I thought 2w was a plot device that anyone could use. Carter is the same: you can control hr to further the plot

mister terrible and the others looked on upon the battle looking on as 3W fought with his robot counterpart Larry,Harold and Bart had taken their positions surrounding the fight ready to strike.
"hmmmm I wonder what I can do with this thing" mister terrible said staring at the PDA commander Johnson had given him he started messing with the buttons trying to access all the functions he tried draining and charging the power watching the battery meter go up and down he chuckled.
"well I can manipulate electricity too nice" mister terrible whispered. Mister terrible turned to face ray who was positioned at the opposite rooftop.
"ray in five minuted give the signal alright" mister terrible whispered.
"hmmmm I wonder what I can do with this thing" mister terrible said staring at the PDA commander Johnson had given him he started messing with the buttons trying to access all the functions he tried draining and charging the power watching the battery meter go up and down he chuckled.

As he was waiting he couldn't help but think about that 'company's' intentions "Surely they're not going to just let us go, best not to think about it, you always have been paranoid Ray" Ray said to himself, shortly after he wondered why he was talking to himself.

"ray play the signal we need to involve ourselves before one of them kills the other" mister terrible whispered.

Of course, terribleyetfun, I'm not saying that you WILL HAVE TO OBEY ME HAHA. I'm just saying that it would be a shame for this to die, because people aren't posting in it.

I posted a great story of how my character ripped the head off of her assailant yesterday and now it's gone. Curses. Still, I might have had to change it anyways. Before I post again, can I kill Wolf or do I have to make do with flesh wounds and losses of limb?
Err, I'd like to keep Wolf alive this time. He should be playing a bit important part in chapter three. Same with Fox, but aye, flesh wounds and losses of limbs are acceptable. Although even with superpowers, don't forget he's an officer of The Company :3 Like a midb-boss, to be exact.
