Talladega Knights, and just about any other movie with Will Ferrel. He's just...stupid. Like Spongebob but more predictable and with no depth.

I am so glad to read i am not the only one to really dislike 300. It isn't the worst movie i have seen it is just not as good as the hype wants to make you believe.

You will. One day. I hope. I really do hope.
You know he only got rewarded for it cause he kinda died, right?
Well, I have to disagree with you there. I watch that film, I look at him and I believe he's insane.
In that case, you should probably watch the Batman movie of 1998 (the one directed by Tim Burton). THAT's the Joker. Jack Nicholson incorporated pretty much every aspect of him, he doesn't play an insane person who kills people, he plays an insane person who kills people with unsafe prank toys and thinks it's hilarious.

Also, I saw someone mention The Human Centipede. I now accuse this person of bringing back the memories of almost two wasted hours of my life and the most horrible, cruel, and unrealistic movie I ever saw.

Oh, speaking of Saw... I never understood why people like these movies. Also, I never understood why people MAKE these movies in the first place...

I am SO surprised that this thread turned into an Avatar hate-a-thon. Shocked I tell you.

I disliked intensly Sweeney Todd by Tim Burton. I'm not a Burton fan at all ready. His movies just grate on me. Aside from Big Fish. That was awesome.

Boondock saints is a shitty movie with a shitty everything and you're terrible for liking it.

Oh! And Joss Whedon isn't BAD but he's the single most overrated creative mind in the history of ever. He's mediocre at best.

Please, don't go there mate.
I'm begging you.
To each his own opinion, and I'll respect yours.
But you could say that to some folks, and I am not joking, they would hit you for that.
People can get super offended by those kind of comments.
People should grow up then.
Blockbusters and superhero movies specifically don't usually get rewards for acting. I won't say more. I won't argue.
The Dark Knight was actually a very good movie. I'm not particularly partial to superhero movies, but it was very good.
OT: Inception. I haven't seen it, and I'm not particularly interested in seeing it. Right after it came out though a lot of people I know were talking about all this dream stuff, and it really irked me.

The Twilight series. I only saw the first two and they were both terrible. The plot made little sense and the characters had very little chemistry. I have no idea why it is so popular.

Hate is such a strong word. Unless the movie was about something quite dastardly, I can respect it as it exists, those who like it and things of that nature are all fine by me. I could never *hate* a movie I feel is overrated though.
Well, what films have you seen that didn't live up to the hype? You don't have to "hate" them, as I certainly don't "hate" Napoleon Dynamite, just merely want to avoid them as a waste of time.

The Dark Knight. It's not that I hate it per se but I'm not retarded, Christopher Nolan, I don't get my life lessons from superhero movies. You're not deep.

This, a thousand times.

Maybe it's because I was raised with the Adam West and cartoon images of Batman or maybe it's because I was sick of hearing clowns, bat-suit wearing vigilantes and comic-book characters attempt to wax philosophical but I thought that the film was incredibly overrated.

It was even worse here in Australia as everyone was going gaga for Heath Ledger's performance (it was good, but not great) and for months people looked at me as though I had leprosy for saying such things.

Edit: Oh yeah, and 2001. I've grown up with a masive Kubrick fan and while I've enjoyed some of his films (watch The Shining RIGHT NOW) he's tried getting me to watch that damned boring movie which shares one of the big things that bugs me about pre-60's "pure" science fiction (the fact that it can go into waaaay too much pandering to the technological aspects of the universe it's set in because Asimov Arthur C Clarke probably used to sit around jizzing themselves at the thought of a spaceship or an elevator to space...not to say I don't enjoy the odd "Fountains of paradise") and simply drags on, and on, and on to the point where you're pretty much cheering HAL on when he starts bumping off the crew.

I am going to be cannibalized, but everything Quentin Tarantino has done, aside from Inglorious Bastards.

And no, Kill Bill is not deep no matter how you dress it up.

Well, I don't HATE it, (I don't tend to base my opinion off of other people's opinions, in any way) but I don't see why people think Quentin Tarantino is some kind of genius. So he can put a little bit of pulp and parody in his movies. Big whoop. It's really not that clever.

Scarface - Not a terrible movie, but sure as hell not the masterpiece it is hyped up to be. There was ONE interesting scene throughout the film, the one noone seems to reference, the meeting in which Scarface becomes the new boss. (Always fun to watch a man go from top of the world to begging for his life in a matter of 20 seconds.) Plot sucked, characters sucked and the often referenced "Say hello to my little friend" scene was plain boring.
