So, thousands upon thousands of concerned fans (read, idiots) start calling the Toronto Police dept. So they get FLOODED with calls and their phone system is paralyzed for a while (I am not sure how long on this point). He then tweets or twitters or whatever in the hell "The police are here now, pls stop calling them."

If a legitimate emergency happened during that time, and someone couldn't get their 911 call in, he could be found guilty of criminal negligence, or wrongful death if anything happened because of it.

And I'm honestly surprised that noone else isn't surprised by this. People like Perez Hilton (and that whore who shares his last name), are pretty much symbolic of all that is wrong with society today; unwarranted self-importance, over-use of social networking tools, and complete lack of independence.
