I once climbed barefoot over barbed wire without knowing it. In this case pain tolerance was not a good thing, since I was essentially walking in horseshit barefoot with open wounds (I was raised on a farm).

This is going to sound a little strange, but honestly whenever I get hurt I'm too interested by the whole, "Hey look, I've got insides!" part of it to really feel the pain.

I've been taught how to mentally detach myself from pain, so I can tolerate quite a lot without even flinching. But more severe injuries, like if I broke my leg, or dislocated my shoulder or something, that I couldn't detach myself from.

I've been stabbed and almost not phased but being diabetic I'm pretty much immune to flesh wounds. I deal with burns without a noise (of course a quick jolt to avoid beint immolated) And having multiple "near death" experiences i know my pain threshhold is pretty high (doctors think i lie when i say i didnt know my arm was broken :p) but i dont fare well with electrecution and kryptonite... that stuff hurts.

I wince and complain about any form of pain when I'm not focusing on something. But I'm always going to be the last person to reach for medication. I have so many friends who carry painkillers around for stupid things like stubbing their toes. That's an exageration of course, but in the end I will never go down because of pain. I find that if it really hurts enough for me to go down, then I should probably go to the hospital.

Depends on the kind of pain I guess. The injuries I have sustained while running (tendinitis and a stress fracture) were far more painful than slicing my leg open (2in long scar, looks awesome), or a recent chemical mishap. It's all subjective...

I walked around on a broken toe for about a week and had no idea it was broken until the blisters got extremely b.listery though that is pretty common.

Not too sure how high my pain tolerence is tbh... It tends to range for different bodyparts. Ive had multiple broken bones (arm, collar-bone, thumb) that didn't phase me, And then i had my ears stretched which made me swear alot and grind my teeth into oblivion...
I suppose id better hope its high seeing as how i just booked a 6hour appointment at a tattoo studio to get a geisha on my forearm.

Firstly, you should totally stick your finger in that hole, you know you want to :p
I can handle the pain when i have to, but i normally go straight for the pain killers. Whats the point in having ridiculous amounts of codeine around the house if i'm not going to use it?
That's terrible idea. Just ask James Woods...

I have a reasonably good tolerance to pain.

But went I start bleeding or get hurt, I still get an urge to bandage myself, with or without pain.

My friends seem to think that I dont feel pain. I do, I just don't show it. It can get annoying though when they keep pinching my arm really hard, but I don't say anything cause I'm a MAN!

I got hit in the head by a baseball once - The bruise was kinda painful for a while
Better than someone hitting you with the bat. Trust me.

Last year I walked around with an untreated second degree burn for three days, so I think I can take a decent amount of pain.
