I believe he's implying that "all cashiers that work at Wal-Mart are stupid" which is somehow slightly more palatable, though no less of a logical fallacy.

I don't think that will ever happen. Sex between two consenting adults is never harmful. Sex with a child who doesn't fully understand what he/she is doing is always wrong. This theory of escalation doesn't hold any weight. By that logic, if you let a male friend hug you, you'll eventually let him stick it in your pooper? If you legalize the purchase of guns, you'll eventually legalize the purchase of nuclear missiles?

They're sueing because they spread it around, not because they've been reported.I fully agree that it's justified.When you work at the states attorney's office/child services/etc i believe it's part of the job to keep "current investigations" to yourself, not tell family/friends about it...

funny story that happen to my grandma when she changed my cousins a dapier and put ontiment on diper rash. but it was just mostly a famliy disput and a way to get revenge. The case never went to court.

My parents took pictures of me naked as a kid. Sure it's embarrassing, but it's a natural thing for parents to do. If there was any merit to the things walmart accused them of than every parent in america would be a pedophile.

Plus there was no evidence of sexual abuse, just some kids, their own kids, splashing about in a bath.

If taking pictures of your own children in the bath warrents sexual abuse, most of our parents would be in prison right now.

To develop pictures, the person developing the pictures has to see them. Either that or they can blindfold themselves and hope the pictures are done developing when they are pulled out of the solution. And that they don't bump into anything sensitive causing chemical burns on themselves.

It's called a 'darkroom' for a reason; it has to be pitch-black when you are developing the photos. Otherwise they get over-exposed. It's only after they've been treated that you can look at them.

Anyway, what's with all the people saying that they will take naked baby pictures just to embarrass their children? This seems like an abuse of authority to me.

These sorts of cases have been cropping up for years. The jury almost inevitably declares them innocent, if it even gets that far. The only exceptions might be if there's something really overtly sexual about the photos.

I mean, these parents aren't pedophiles, but exclaiming that pedophilia in general will soon become acceptable, or indeed has any reason to be, is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.

To compare a homosexual or a person with a different skin color to someone who sexually abuses prepubescent children is completely outrageous. We're not talking about sexual preference, we're talking about the manipulation and destruction of a child's psyche.

I know people who have been the victim of pedophiles. I understand what that sort of treatment can do to a person, and it is one of the most traumatic experiences I have ever had described to me.
