Wow.

Adults are truly more idiotically naive than ever.
Speak for yourself. At 39 I'd know to jump to Urbandictionary first and check. Unless of course, I actually wanted to use the wrong words.

Edit: Surely "Rent" would derive from Parent as 'rent anyway, just by silently pronouncing the first syllable?

Even funnier than expected.

It's horrible when parents try to do this, it really just makes me raged.

You... You're OLD!
Sorry couldn't help myself.

Well I guess there are some exceptions to what I was saying but it doesn't help that half of the words on that list have the wrong definition next to them or are words I've never heard before.

I don't know, I'd say secks is pretty desirable.

AFAICT, none of those words mean what she says they mean. "Grill" for instance is used to refer to those teeth braces used, fap is an onomatopoeic sound related to onanism, and Phat is exceptionally good, not Phatty. Or at least it was 5 years ago, I can't say that I'm quite up with the times, fo shizzle.

Boo yakka sha.

Now now, no need to get ahead of yourself there. You may have 21 years on me but they aren't 21 important growth related ones.

Considering the geographical differences between us I cannot comment on how correct you are, as 'teens' here are likely slightly different to in the UK.
I just hope that you refrain from using such language in any conversations barring maybe this one.

The slang word "cheedar" has been around for a long time; No one says "fo shiz" unless joking heavily; I don't know anyone who has ever said cheezing to mean smiling; Chillax used to be used, still is sometimes; Chomper??? WTF; Coolth??? Cool Sloth?; Coupledom, never existed, hopefully; Crunk isn't crazy drunk or drunk crazy. It is chronic drunk, like smoking weed and getting drunk. ; Cyberloafing based on the words that make it up would be being lazy on the computer ; dang, well who doesn't know what that means. ; defriends, no shit it means to unfriends someone, but no one uses it too much ; dip out is kinda common; dis, yea, disrespect; dogger, usually means someone who is annoying someone or who likes to do it doggy style(still a lame word); durrl??? waht the eff? ; E-class, sometimes used; fap is a jerking sounds, mostly associated with masturbation; flamed, is just giving someone shit; foo, yea it is fool, but not many use it, unless they are lazy, which a lot of teens are; gaper. lol; G, used a little to describe friends(pretty old though); Gel??? could this come from gellin??? ; get your swerve on? who made that upp? ; grill, are teeth and or a teeth covering, usually made of gum wrappers; grommet is regional i think; gronk out is retarded; hack is a pretty old word, like he is a hack, meaning he is no good; Holah? sounds a lot like Hola.

I am too tired to go over the rest and it probably doesnt matter

I try to match my language to the background of the person I'm speaking to, unless I specifically want it to grate. :)

I know a lot of people way older than me who understand "youf"-speak though. Usually it comes of being a good parent. Or in real UK slang, "Whatever, minger!"

Poke me for being old though, and you get poked back for being young ;)
