Whoever did that research is an idiot.
I suppose they just made up the meanings to be 'hip'.
ugh, +1 to the ignorance attribute for anyone who buys that stupid dictionary or believes it.
and I'm not sure if I mean that offensively or not.

Nope, not from here either, unless of course I am REALLY out of touch with society.

But the only word from there that I use is n00b, so who on hell was that journalist talking to when this was written?

Dang is not modern slang.

Dang has been around since before I was born.

That alone made me completely disregard this article.

Gonna be fucking hilarious when a misinformed parent uses fap when talking to a teenager.

About the rest of the words: ridiculous. When the fuck are most of these used? Where the fuck are they used?

I think the most hilarious word on that list is "Dang". Thankyou, oh Herald Sun, for enlightening us to the meaning of a 1950's expression of mild annoyance. RIGHT ON THE CUTTING EDGE THERE, way to stay ahead of the trend. Next time I open up the tech section I'll no doubt find a picture of an abacus captioned "What will they think of next?".

Down in down under, piece is also graffiti terminology, to those who know what it is, for everyone else, its just a giant tag with many colours.

You said it so much better than I did. I applaud you.

I also laughed, a lot, reading your post.

Not American, mate. We say nothing of the sort here.
Goddamn, then where are these coming from?
I wanna know where that article was published, surely it can't be Aussie...
British?
I've heard one or two of them used in England. For example, my ex used to use "rents"
Although "Fetch" and "A piece"?
I thought "Fetch" was a piss take of Paris Hilton and "A piece" was a gun?

I'm a teenager, and I speak normal English, I just mumble so nobody can hear me anyway. The only slang I use is the general slang from our area, or even my group of friends. I have yet to find anyone other than us who uses 'Andy' as an insult.

Funny, as being "munter", is to be happy in danish.

Oh...wow...umm....

You know what, let's just wait and see how badly our parents will humiliate themselves.

I really don't use slang anyways. Besides dang, but I really don't think that should be slang. That's just my view.

Sorry, nope.

I assumed they belonged to you lot - it sure as hell doesn't look like anything kids here say.
Nope, not American. They're just wrong, with the exception of a few...which no one under the age of 30 uses.

Fap=drunk, confused is definitely the funniest though.
