What are your thoughts on this?
This is what keeps me away from religions, but not away from God.
What do the religious, most of them at least, have in they're Book-O'-Tricks? "All Life is Sacred."
From my understanding of the idea, since pastors like Mr. Anderson and that humorless sour-puss Fred Phelps have very different definitions, It implies that since all of us our creatures of God then to purposely kill a man is evil.
But we kill everyday! We kill everyone! There has never been a death-free day. We have killed for religious reasons, judicial reasons, stupid reasons, and the all-in-one reason, no reason.
If he prays to God for his death, I'd think God would take this very harshly and, depending on your definition of "All Life is Sacred", bring back The Pharaoh Treatment simply for this overzealous idiot.
(P.S. If you are offended in anyway by this, watch these next two words very carefully, Grow Up. I am a Agnostic, meaning I do believe in a being or beings that created us, because some of the things in life are just too stupid or too beautiful or too much of both for there not to be. I don't believe that people have found the right method of thanking him/her/it[personally,my bet is "her".] because for a supreme being, who created beauty in all forms big or small, and has not punished us all for all of the shitty things we have done to screw each other up in every imaginable way, probably takes the same amount thanks from a point to the sky as to a extravagant ritual. So, Don't get offended, because you have to learn as adults, that all humans are different and that there are many of us, so no matter how much you huff and puff, people will always be against you, and with you.)
