Era- 30/30 2MP. Silverholt

Era turns on her side and looks at the lifeless tundra she lays in. She stretches her arms out. Jumping up she scans the area for any life. In the distance she watches the Nirn people wandering through the ice caves.

She hisses through her teeth as the cold hits a cut in her palm and little knicks on her arms. She holds her hand out and watches as beads of blood pool on her hand.

"Perfect.Just perfect."

She clenches her fist and stomps towards the Nirn people.

"Someone fix my hand"

A young looking Nirn woman came closer and took her palm. She examined the bloody palm and reaching down to a small sack, she removed moist leaves. The Nirn woman pressed the leaves into her hand, causing Era to shriek in pain and anger. She snarled at the woman, raising her hand to strike her. The woman grabbed her hand and held onto it. Speaking softly, "hold off".

She panted and hissed as the cold seeped into her wound. Spinning around, Era began walking towards the East. Stopping on a hill, she removed the moist leaves from her palm and flinging it to the side.

"Useless" She hissed to herself.

Behind her, Era heard hard footsteps approaching her at a fast pace. She spun around to face her pursuer. From the knicks in her arms and the cut from her palm, spawned a deep red bow and arrow, it was lightweight but sturdy. She held the arrow, shocked. The pointed end towards a now frightened Nirn maiden.

The woman simply mumbled 'sorry'and bolted back to her tribe. Turning her back to the ice caves, Era walks towards the East.

"Hmmm blood arrows. I won't have to waste time on stone weapons. Now nothing stands in my way."

Arora - 29/30 AP, 2 MP - the Lucent Reef

Lightning flashed through the sky, casting it's white illumination across the tempestuous water below. The majority of the timid Fey folk native to this land had taken shelter within the forest, comfortable amongst the trees or hidden away inside one of the many natural caves that dotted the coastal cliff faces. Many of them took the time to sleep, eat, or even play.
Yet one of the diminutive creatures had no such refuge. By the sudden raidiance of each passing thunderbolt a shape would be fleetingly revealed between the waves; a raft.

A fishing boat.

Ajax paddled furiously against the waves, blinking out rain and burning seaspray as he desperately struck out to the shore. He had been foolish to venture out in such conditions, and now he feared for his life. Even worse than that, the thought that he might not make it back to his Felissa, his beautiful Felissa lying waiting for him in their cave, heavy with child... It chilled him to the bone with less mercy even than the whipping winds of the storm.
"Argh!" he spluttered. "Please, no-"
The Feyeath yelled in vain anger as he was swamped yet again by an oncoming wave, his meager catch of fish and crab sliding along the rudimentary wooden deck in time with his own battered motion. The boat lurched upward, crashing down with a tooth-jarring crunch of splintering wood. Ajax's eyes widened.
"No..." he gasped, staring at the cracking treebranchs that had once made up the the part of his boat that was responsible for keeping it above the surface of the water. There seemed little doubt about it now; he was about to die. Hopefully he would crack his skull on a jutting section of luminous coral before predators sniffed him out. That would be as painless an end as he could hope for.
Yet as much as the subject of his impending doom pressed against his mind, there was something still more prevailant.
"Felissa..."
In a final hopeless stab of faith, Ajax looked toward the furious heavens and spoke.
"Please!" he cried, trying his best to steady himself against what was left of his sinking raft. "Take care of my Felissa! Watch over our unborn child! Drown me if that is your wish, but I beg of you, if anyone can hear me, spare my fa-"
With a mighty crash Ajax was swept away mid speech, his makeshift craft demolished beneath the waves. The next lightning strike showed no sign of either the Feyeath or his fishing raft. Not even a loose chunk of flotsam.

Yet there was something else that caught the eye amidst the dense downpour of the monsoon.

Arora the Heartfire, a goddess among the primitive people of this planet, standing clearly visible at the peak of a weatherbeaten seastack. In contrast to poor Ajax she seemed completely unfazed by the inclement weather. She did not care about the patterned white silks and dark hair clinging sodden and translucent to her body; the only concern she had was for the Fey fisherman and his family, for Ajax's appeal had come in loud and clear to the Goddess of Love.
Arora's white eyes flashed, mimicking the lights in the sky. They glowed with a heat well beyond that of pure flame or even red hot iron, for they hold the intensity of the Heartfire. It is with this power that she would answer the prayers of Ajax.

5 DC: Bless Ajax with protection equal to his love, so that he might return to land unharmed. AP now 29/30.

Venari - Silverholt - 30/30 AP, 2 MP

Venari stood in the dark of the caves as other shuffled around in the lighter areas. The cold of the ice and the air was pleasant to him, his flesh became too warm without it. And then he smelled it, blood. In the distance he felt it... He then ignored it as suddenly as he looked. It was the blood creature again. Angry, mean creature with a forge in its veins. It was trying to force the tribe of what called themselves Nirn to do things for it.

Venari blinked as he returned the sight to his eyes and started stalking through the darkness again. There was a creature in the darkness that was doing its best to hide from everything. White Furred and Crawling it thought itself invisible in the snow of the cave floor. It started crawling again, looking for something in the rare patches of dirt under the snow.

After a few moments of watching he let loose an arrow from his bow, it struck the creature and after a few seconds the creature stopped moving. Venari walked up to the creature and pulled the ice like arrow from the body. It had struck the heart and it was dead before it knew it had been hit. Small droplets of blood dripped off the arrow and after a few seconds he dropped it back onto the ground. He crouched back down and started to turn the corpse over, he hadn't seen one of these creatures this close before. There were plenty of them in the caves, though most dwelled further out.

Deciding it was acceptable he picked it up and carried it over his shoulder. The walk back to his camp wasn't long, though perhaps it would be for the Nirn or one of the other kinds he briefly sensed occasionally because of the dark. As he made his way back into the light he saw a group of Nirn touching his few things, searching his pack. Venari was surprised by this, his camp was close to theirs and they rarely visited him. As he approached a few of them turned before sprinting away. More odd behaviour. Perhaps they were curios, men seemed to be curious. Perhaps he should present the creature to them as a gift.

He packed his supplies and made his way to their camp. They stood around their fires, watching them intently, they didn't seem to like the cold. As one of them noticed him and looked on in confusion he began unpacking his supplies a few feet away from their main encampment. As one of their watchmen approached he began to create a camp fire, growing and transmuting ice into hardened glass from the ground to create a basin, filling the basin with pure alcohol for fuel, glass to hold the meat above it. As the watchman looked on astonished Venari snapped his fingers and the basin lit with a spark he made. Venari smiled as he then began to gut the skin the creature. The astonished Nirn sat down at the other side of the fire and looked on in awe.

As Venari skinned the creature and Nirn began to gather around his new fire he had a thought, perhaps the reason that they didn't live here was because of the cold. Perhaps he could make it easier for them. Make the hunt easier for them.

He didn't feel quite powerful enough to make the cave easier to live in, but perhaps he was to make them better at living in the caves. He made their bodies better at handling the cold and even the warmth of some places. They would be able to live wherever they liked, able to carry the hunt to wherever it could be carried.

- Bless the Nirn Nomads in Silverholt, by making them able to be comfortable in any temperature range (they're being made biologically tolerant by making them resistant to temperatures).
- Action is difficulty 7, with a cost of 2 AP. Total domain bonus applied to the roll is +4.

- Should have 28/30 AP at end of turn.

Taumel - 29/30ap,2MP - Lucent Reef

She felt a belonging she hadn't felt in years where she floated through the water, deep beneath the surface among the coral, fish and the odd glow. The experience was melancholic. She may never find her home again, but here she had something that was close to it. It just lacked her people.

Taumel rose quickly through the water, until she shot up in a cascade. She span around in midair and sprayed water everywhere. Her tentacles were stretched out and made her movement look like quite the spectacular pirouette. She'd been in the area long enough to know that she wasn't alone. There were interesting mortals around, and a couple of experiments-gone-wrong like herself too.

She floated through the air in the same way that she had moved in the water. Her body was suspended by her powers, and she had no use of physical prowess. Her mind was so strong now. Taumel moved around the islands, investigating what was currently going on. There was a storm that had lasted for days. The rain never ceased. The mortals were hiding from it. She saw Arora standing on top of a seastack, and decided to float closer to greet her.

"Oh, are you trying to get attention from the mortals by beauty alone?" Taumel smirked, her tentacles swaying in the wind, snapping towards the other goddess a few times. "Maybe you ought to assume a more squirrel-like appearance then."

Laughing Taumel floated away once more, she hadn't spotted Gi'zeal so she dropped down to the water again to play with the Fey. They weren't in the water of course, but she wanted to see if she could get one of them to it anyway. She swam to the most central island, where she lurked near the surface and called out for the beings in the trees to come down to her. She tried a number of sounds. The one that worked in the end was what she imagined a child of the Feyeath would sound like when in danger.

Taumel kept making the noise until the Feyeath was close enough, then she grabbed it with her tentacles and pulled it down underwater. It struggled, but she put some of the tentacles against its head to affect the mind and it stopped moving. There were thoughts inside of the female Fey's head, but nothing of value. They were simple, too simple. It it did give her room to conduct her own improvements though. Channeling her power into its mind she intended to improve it in a way that would make this particular Feyeath into a natural leader for her kin. Someone who could unite them, make them listen and work together for a brighter future.

After she'd used her power on the Feyeath, she put it back up on the beach and sank deep into the depths of the reef herself.

Gi'zeal - 28/30AP, 2MP - The Lucent Reef
After a few more tweaks Gi'zeal left the trees to go back to their own, hopefully greater, devices and went back to watching the Fey soon this would be a land of plenty, a content population with more than they could possibly need. He would have to work quickly before these primitives were beyond his power. That would be embarrassing. If this was going to work he would need a subject soon, someone to turn this in his favor.

Staying hidden amongst the branches of the trees and shadows of the caves he navigated the threads of desires that filled the little mammals. Food well that would soon be provided, mates useful but satiable shelter teaching these critters about the nuances of a real estate economy would be more trouble than it was worth.
Simple wants with simple demands, Gi'zeal needed something deeper, something more... long term. Aha! On the edge of the treeline even in the fury of the storm a pair of the Fey stood and watched the lines of their yearning trailing far out to the thrashing sea and onto the Peninsula. There was a deep longing for something they could not have, tinged with hints of anger, or even possibly guilt. perfect

Being certain to remain hidden Gi'zeal slipped closer to listen in
"If the storm does not claim him, the beasts will. I have condemned our brother to his death"

"Alish, there was nothing you could do. He chose to be with her. Ajax isn't coming back. You can't protect him anymore"

Ar'Guran 28/30 2MP Thucho'Iro Heights

Ar'Guran looks down into the valley below and can see Bolt there, running towards him and calling out something. Watching him run towards the mountain and tilting his head in consideration as he does he shakes his head as he decides not to go meet with him yet, even though they had been close to friends on the ship Ar'Guran was feeling a need to gather and create something of his own right now. Jumping off the top of the mountain and spreading his wings wide he starts gliding down the valley looking down at it searching for some of the mortals that live here. Flapping his wings lazily to keep himself high in the sky as he searches he spots a family down below trying to attack and kill something significantly larger than themselves.

Circling slowly and going lower and lower Ar'Guran watches as the large creature they are targeting grabs one of the mortals in its mouth and savages it enough that its spirit leaves, driving the others into more of a fury they attack it recklessly and soon have it down and dead. Keeping himself high above them and watching he laughs to himself as they start tearing into the beast they just killed eating parts of it raw and ruining the skin as they do. Reaching down with his mind and plucks the name for these savage creatures from it, though even that takes time since they barely have a sense of self. Kaish, a primitive and savage group that seems to enjoy the hunt as much as the killing. As they finish eating themselves and start dragging the rest back in another direction Ar'Guran follows well above them till it is easy to spot the others waiting for them and squatting in the dirt of the valley they are in.

Just before the ones dragging the body back to the rest Ar'Guran drops from the sky quickly and slams into the group on the other side of the group and as they all freeze and turn to look at the Dust raised into the air he slowly stands up and spreads his wings as it settles, showing off his size and obvious mastery of life to the shaken but still defiant Kaish below. Words slip between his fangs and drop down over them, even to these primitives they understand his words in the deepest aspects of each of their minds.
"Primitive savages wallowing around in the mud and dirt, strong for some but so weak."

As Ar'Guran lowers his head and leans forward to smell one of the smaller ones that had been close to him he laughs as one of the adults rushes forward and tries to attack him. Huffing out and hitting the attacking mortal with a puff of ait it makes him fly back and roll across the ground in a daze.
"Calm down little Kaish, if i wished to kill you all it would be easier than it has been keeping you all alive so far. Now leave that body and come closer, i believe there is a speck of potential in you and i want to see how much worth i can gain from you all."

As the Kaish slowly gather closer he looks them over and raises his head to watch as they tremble but half of them seem to be more angry and defiant than scared. Pulling his scaled lips back in a much fanged smile Ar'Guran can feel deep inside his self that these will make a fine start to his followers, defiant even in the face of death they would fight well after reason would say otherwise. Raising his head high above them all he coughs softly and can feel something bubbling up in the back of his throat before he lowers his head and in the midst of a roar tar fly's out of his mouth and splatters over most of the group, the rest getting covered in the second they all are pushed to the ground and covered by the thick tar as they scream out in fear and surprise.

Watching them from above Ar'Guran can feel pleasure at what he has just done, since it will change their shape into something more useful and very different than any others of their kinds. Ar'guran sits back and curls up to watch their transformation.

Leilani - 28/30 AP 2MP - Steelcoast Swamp

Leilani woke up, tangled in vines. It had been Leilani's preferred method to sleep every since the ship exploded. This locale was much better than being on that dreadful ship. Leilani looked around and saw trees and plants everywhere with murky water on the floor. This was like paradise to her. There were many plants she could use at her disposal to do what she wanted. She commanded the vines to free her so she could go about exploring.

Leilani walked through the swamp, the murky water being cold to the touch. Eventually she saw some actual forest floor and decided to walk on that. Leilani keep walking until she stumbled upon a group of Feyeath. She hid behind a tree not far from the Feyeath. There was a group of about 10 of them, some armed with sticks, others with nothing. Leilani wanted to talk to them, but wasn't sure if they were friendly. She just smiled instead. She knew of another way she could talk with them.

Leilani used her powers to control the plants around them. She made the trees attack them with their low lying branches and used the vines to grab the Feyeath. This caught the creatures by surprise. Some of them got wrapped up in the vines and others attempted to attack them with their sticks or claws. Some of the vines took the sticks from them and wrapped their vines around their neck, lifting them off the ground. The other creatures tried to save their fellow members caught by the vines, but when they did, more vines came and incapacitated them.

It looked like these creatures were going to die by these vines, as they were getting entangled and strangled by the vines. But then the vines and trees stopped. The vines let go of their victims and retreated back from where they came from. The creatures had no clue what happened. Then Leilani came out from where she was hiding and showed herself to the creatures. "Guess it was a good thing I stumbled you Feyeath. You would have been dead had I not shown up.", Leilani said, knowing her plan had worked.

Era stomped through the freezing winds. The cut on her hand stinging. She passes multiple Nirn villages and the children gaze upon her in fear. She flashes her gleaming,sharp-toothed smile.

"Well, hello." She hissed at the children, causing them to sprint away. Era laughed hoarsely.

"Stupid wind. Making me sound like a freaking hag." She hissed to herself.

Era journeyed on. Off in the horizon, the sun began to rise over Thucho'Iro Heights. She smiled to herself as she gazed at the enormous mountain range.

Off to the Northwest side of the mountain, shrieks and cries echo loudly. Era turns toward the sound, taking off in a sprint. She sprints toward the sound. A burst of energy paralyzes her body. Era closes her pale green eyes and suddenly gazedaupon a dragon. A sense of familiarity sparks in her belly.

"Ar'Guran", she mumbled softly, "I'm sure that's your name. I remember you from a dream."

Slinking off, Era turns West in search for a single creature to bend to her will. She sprints and climbs the frozen glaciers of Silverholt. She scales steep cliff of the frozen glacier and perches on the ledge, grabbing a small black stone, she grind's out multiple points, like a serrated stone ring. Smiling at the small accessory she created, Era stood to locate the closed village. 20 miles to the West laid a reef. She smiled as small nymph like creatures flitted across the illuminated shores.

Era climbed down. The rocks jabbing into her hand.

"Dammit." She hissed as blood dripped from her fingers.

Her feet thumped against the ground as she landed. She took off in a sprint towards the reef. After an hour of running, she slows on the edge of a small village. Era spots a young male Nirn. She walks over to him and speaks softly.

"Young lad, I require your assistance. Come here." She smiled.
The young Nirn walked closer. Era quickly looked his frame over. He was thin, but strong.
"How old are you?" She questioned him softly.

"Nineteen." He scoffed.

"You'll work perfctly." Era smiled and pulling her arm back, she punches the lad in the face, rendering him unconscious.

She stands over him, taking the stone ring she carved and slices her palm. Era squeezes a few drops of blood into the Feyeaths mouth. Closing her eyes, she chants softly to herself a binding spell.

Leaning down she kisses him softly and chuckles low to herself.

"You, my dear little servent, have my gift, my blessing: Acid blood." Era tilts her head back in a deep chuckle.

Bolt

Thucho'Iro Heights got what it desperately needed through the actions of Bolt. It began to rain for the first time in months. At first it was just a light drizzle, but it turned into a heavy downpour within a couple of hours. The Kaish and the beasts that had been in the process of leaving the heights stopped in their tracks when they felt the rain.

Lliant

Lliant managed to turn one of the fishes in the Steelcoast Swamp into Un'dfwn, Guardian of the Deep. It was a creature the mortals would come to fear and tell tales about. It was difficult for them to grasp that such a massive creature could dwell in the waters of the swamp, but then they didn't really know how deep the waters ran. Un'dfwn would be loyal to Lliant for as long as it lived.

Gi'zeal

Gi'zeal enhanced the trees of the grove on his island, so that they grew considerably taller than the other trees and more bountiful. The Feyeath would come there often after the enhancement to gather fruit, or climb the tall trees to scout the area.

Thumero

Thumero's crystals did not have the desired effects that he wanted. Instead, they turned red and the nirn claimed they could hear them sing, calling for them. They remained mere crystals though, with nothing more than superficial effects. The nirn did like them for their appearance and did keep pieces as charms.

Arora

Arora's blessing of Ajax worked well. He survived almost drowning in the sea. In fact, it would keep him safe more than once over his life as long as he loved his wife and his family. Ajax eventually realized that he seemed more likely to survive death or avoid getting hurt after the incident.

Venari

Venari made some of the nirn nomads in Silverholt more tolerant to the temperatures. This group could feel the cold fade and stop affecting them. If they so wished, they could now remain in Silverholt at all times of the year, even when the wild wind blew.

Taumel

Taumel changed the mind of a single Feyeath. She quickly began to demand respect and give out orders to the others of her race in the Lucent Reef. They listened and obeyed her, because she did it with such confidence and charisma that they simply could not refuse. This Feyeath would become the first real leader among her species.

Ar'guran

Ar'guran's spit changed a group of Kaish into a larger, somehow more muscular version of the species, with greater smell and hearing. The thirty-three that had been spit on would remain devoted to Ar'guran throughout their lives, and do their best to follow what they believed Ar'guran would have wanted. Strangely, spitting on someone else became a sign of respect among this group.

Leilani

The Feyeath that Leilani tricked into believing that she had saved from certain death bowed down to her, offered her their food and water. They began to think of Leilani as their saviour. Now that she had scared them of the forest they lived in they began to follow her, both figuratively and literally. They would cling to her whenever she showed herself.

Era

Era traveled until she stumbled upon a mortal that she blessed. This male would receive the gift of acidic blood. Thankfully, his gift would not harm his own body, but it would melt or burn other things that it came in contact with. If anything, predators would think twice about eating him.

Bolt was sleeping on his little hill when it started to rain. Bolt started to wake up as the light drizzle turn into heavy downpour. "Well Mrs.Flower I told you I could do it" Bolt said as he smiled. As he was looking around he suddenly saw the little Kaish from before. "I guess he wants more water" Bolt said as he scratched his head "It's weird that he would put on re.." Bolt's eyes widened as he came to the realization "HOLY SHIT THAT'S BLOOD!". Bolt ran down the hill to where the little Kaish was. "WHAT HAPPEN TO YOU" Bolt yelled as he grab the Kaish and brought him up to his hill. Kaish said in a weak voice as he held his wound " ..Monster, It was a monster attack my village. Please Help then". " where your village" Bolt said to the little Kaish. The Kaish just point south. "Ok Mrs.Flowers take care of him I'm going monster hunting" Bolt said as he ran to the village.

When he got close to the village he heard something. "collect water, collect plants, collect animals". as Bolt arrived to the village he saw the monster.
Bolt saw it uses its tentacles to rip Kaishs apart and put the pieces in a storage box on its back. Bolt ran to the beast and yelled "Stop right there you monster! you will face the power of Bolt god of the Sky!!" The Robot stared at bolt "new lifeform found. will have problem killing i.." before the robot could finish, Bolt stabbed it in the eye with his horn. "sorry what were you saying." Bolt said with a smile on his face "Does not compute! Does not compute!" The robot said as he it was screaming." "I thought so" Bolt said before firing a lighting bolt through his horn destroy the robot. "well that's that" Bolt said before he walked off as the Kaishs looked on seeing him head up north.

When Bolt saw his hill in the distance He knows he had to do one more think. When he saw the little Kaish he asked him "I stopped the monster for you". "Thanks" said the Kaish before he started to cough up blood. Bolt knew from the look on his face he was going to die unless he did something. so he put this hand on the little creature

Arora - 29/30 AP, 2 MP - Lucent Reef

A fair distance from Gi'zeal and the two watchers, there was a small, yet well protected, mainland beach. The waves were dumping even on this secluded stretch of pebbles, just as they did everwhere else. And just as they did everywhere else, these waves carried with them innumerable samples from the ocean; seaweed, jellyfish, cuttlefish, and even luminous phytoplankton.

These ones also happened to carry the Feyeath known as Ajax.

The small man was gently deposited up onto the shore, fur matter with seaweed and the occasional crab, where he lay unconscious and thoroughly waterlogged. For a short time nothing happened; the creature might as well have been dead but for the occasional laboured breath. Then, with a gurgling cough, Ajax woke up.
Eyes widening with reflexive fear, the would-be fisherman quickly rolled onto his side and opened his mouth, expelling onto the pebbles a disproportionately large quantity of seawater that by some miracle had NOT flooded his lungs.
Rising up into a kneeling position Ajax threw up twice more, the grey beach swimming before his eyes as nausea ripped through him. A minute later, once he felt adequately cleansed of the foul tasting water, the survivor got to his feet and looked around. He knew this beach. He also knew how far it was from where he had shipwrecked. It did not seem possible that he could have floated such a distance through the stormy sea without being crushed, broken, impaled, eaten, brained, frozen, struck by lightning, or even simply drowned.
But he had.
Ajax gave a sudden gasp of laughter. He was alive, against all the odds.
"Thank you..." he managed, once more looking up at the sky and clasping his hands together in prayer. "Thank you!"
"You're welcome."
Ajax spun around. Behind him, in a space which he had confirmed as empty mere seconds ago, stood what appeared to be a queer looking Nirn woman. This Feyeath hadn't met many Nirn, but he had not imagined that they could have such pale skin; in fact, even the ears on this one were wrong. The eyes, too... They didn't seem like something of this world, let alone of the Nirn.
"Who- who are you?" demanded Ajax, shivering.
"My name is Arora." said the woman. "I was watching when the sea claimed your boat. I heard what you said."
Ajax frowned, as if confused. "You heard me?" he asked.
Arora smiled kindly at him. "I did. Your words warmed my heart; they were the words of a man who truly cares."
"Felissa..." Ajax murmured, remembering. "She needed meat, fruit wasn't enough... So I went to get some while she waited in our cave... She was in pain!"
He looked around anxiously, pushing sodden hair and seaweed out of his eyes as he did so.
"Our child was on the way! I need to get back."
"Yes you do, of course." said Arora, her tone becoming more serious. "But mind that you do not forget your fish."
"My fish?" the Feyeath repeated, annoyed at what he thought would be a pointless distraction. "They were all... Oh."
To his side lay half a dozen fat fish, all wrapped together in a neat white silk that was clearly of the same design as this Arora lady's veil.
"How...?" he asked, looking from the woman, to the fish, and back again.
"Never mind." the mysterious lady insisted, walking around the smaller being and picking up the fish. "Come, we must not delay."
She then set off down the beach, pebbled scrunching and squelching beneath her bare feet as she moved purposfully through the rain. Ajax followed, hesitating for only a moment before reminding himself what was at stake here...
Felissa.

Arora stood at the mouth of Ajax's cave, watching the storm clouds and their impressive pyrotechnic display. Bolt had always impressed her with his mastery over the powers of the sky. She'd almost have expected a storm such as this one to be his doing, but instead knew that it was ultimately rather unlikely. He seldom turned his attention away from Genesis.
A loud gasp sounded behind her, followed by the muffled sound of Ajax's soothing voice. They had arrived half an hour ago to find Felissa on the brink of hysterics, shouting for anyone to come help her. When she did see her partner appear at the entrance to their shelter, she had become so furious that Arora suspected only the sheer pain of childbirth had stopped her physically attacking the poor man. Answers to her enraged questioning, 'where the hell have you been, what were you thinking, who's this whore you're with', had been set aside for now as the focus was instead turned towards the immanent deliverance of the baby. Arora had left them too it. She had needed time to think.
Now the thinking was done. She had made her decision. This child would be perfect for what she had planned. The task before her was no simple matter however, she needed help before she could risk it...
And there was actually someone who came to mind; Taumel had mentioned that he was in the area. He would mean risky business, Arora knew what he was after all, but no one else was better suited to the task.
So with that, Arora vanished from the rocky parapet in a swirling burst of white hot flame...

...Only to appear a split second later among the forest trees, right behind her fellow god. He was watching two other Feyeath. As far as she could tell they had not yet noticed them.
"Up to your old tricks, Gi'zeal?" Arora asked, trying to keep her voice low and relatively ice-free. She was looking for help, after all.

Ar'Guran, 28/30 AP 2 MP Thucho'Iro Heights

Watching the small family of Keish who he had changed from where he now sits in the middle of their small home Ar'Guran shakes his head slowly and stands. Many of the new tribe had been eating, stuffing themselves with the meat that had been brought in just minutes before. Rather than losing anyone to the animals roaming the heights they easily smashed through them and killed them to bring them back. After letting them eat and getting tired he looks around and a rumble spasms through his body. Flicking his tail and catching one of the small make shift tents they were using he starts walking along the ground slowly. Pausing to say back to them.

?Pack up, this is to open and I'm moving you to a place better for me and you.?

The small tribe perks up and within three minutes they had piled everything together and were dragging it after Ar'guran as he starts making his way towards the mountains. They stayed a ways behind him not wanting to be caught by his tail but faithful in their followings. The walking took hours in itself, the sun high overhead again as he finally stops and looks around, his nostrils flaring as he thinks.

Lifting his upper body off the ground and slamming down into the ground with his front arms the stone cracks under him and a deep thudding sound reverberates. Listening to the sound and nodding his head he looks back at the gathering group behind him and smiles thinly as he sees half of them are eating, obviously someone having gone hunting before and bringing it back.

Pointing ahead Ar'Guran rumbles deep in his chest.
?There is a network of caves ahead. Move forward and find a good one to take over for your clan, closer to the entrance.?

They talk together for a few seconds before they drag the pile of skins and sticks forward and Ar'guran follows them. Soon, just as he had said, they found the entrance to a cave and it was itself large enough even Ar'Guran would be able to walk in with only pulling his wings in against his body. As they move in and half of them rush forward to look through the caves around Ar'Guran sticks his head in above the others waiting and looks around. Soon a echoing roaring call comes from deeper inside the cave system and Keish come running from everywhere to find one of the scouts inside a large cave with some natural smoke stacks and stalactites. As the biggest one of them slowly roams the room considering it he shakes his head and orders them to look again for another one. As they start to run out again Ar'Guran stops them and flicks the big one with his tongue, making him stumble back.

?This is a good place, and I never remember saying you were in charge. Set up your leathers here, start big fires and go hunt.?

The one who had been the leader before Ar'Guran had changed them lowered his head and steps back after he gains his feet again, the others watching him and many smiling as the bully that had been over them was pushed back into place. As Ar'Guran moves away and stomps into the largest cave a few hundred yards away he curls up inside it and watches a dozen of the hulking figures rush out to spread out into the valley beyond and start hunting things, harsh echoing cry's floating through the air as they do.

Gi'zeal - 28/30AP, 2MP - The Lucent Reef

Ada watched her sister stare out into the rainbow flecked chaotic sea, the seaspray and rain not quite hiding Alish?s tears. They had been here for too long it was getting cold and soon would be dark but Alish could not be persuaded to return to shelter, not this time.
The two of them had come out here every evening, Alish to scan the horizon hoping to catch some glimpse of her lost brother, Ada to make sure Alish returned home before the cold or beasts claimed her.
Ada understood her sister's obsession, she still remembered when her parents had returned to the sea and Alish only just of age had spent every waking minute making sure her siblings were fed, safe and secure within the tribe. She also remembered how helpless Alish had been when Ajax chose to abandon them to live with his new wife on the mainland. Her sister only wanted some kind of confirmation that Ajax was alive and safe. But when they had finally seen him, a tiny dot in a thrashing storm, his flimsy boat at any moment threatening to capsize and throw him into the sharp coral or harsh stones. Then as suddenly as he had appeared he had vanished and Ada could not bring herself to tell Alish that this might be the last they would ever see of Ajax.

****

It was clear they could be here for a long time, Gi'zeal thought as he watched the miserable Feyeath, and it was probably best that they should be. By the time it was dark the older one would be so full of blind hope and grief that it would be coming off her in waves.

"Up to your old tricks, Gi'zeal?"

That meant he had plenty of time for the damp god behind him. Putting on his best salesman smile he turned to Arora and began leading her away from the Fey

"Not today, just a spot of gardening, But there's always time. What can I do for you Arora?"

Bolt - 25/30 2MP Thucho'Iro Heights

Bolt was sitting on his little hill with Mrs.Flower and the little Keish "OK, all I need to do now is bring this little guy back to his village" Bolt thought to himself as he picked up the little Keish and started to walk back to the village when he heard someone yell at him "stop right there moral". "oh for love of ancients" Bolt said to himself. The big Keish said "I'm the servant of the great god Ar'Guran Now die" as he throw the spare at bolt. when it hit Bolt it broke in half. They looked at each other for a few seconds until Bolt asked him "You know Ar'Guran?" Bolt asked. "....Yes" the Keish said as fear came to his face. "ok here the deal you bring me to Ar'Guran and I won't eat you" Bolt said with an evil grin coming to his face. "..o...k." the Keish said in horror. "Good but first we need to make a pit stop" Bolt said as he headed to the village to drop off the kid, he grabbed one of the robot legs then followed the other Keish to the caves that Ar'Guran was at. "Ok this is are base are boss lives here to" the Keish said in a scared voice. "Thank you for helping me. I'll put a good word for you" Bolt said as he entered the cave". Bolt started to call out for his old friend "Ar'Guran I need to talk to you about something important".

"Not today, just a spot of gardening, but there's always time. What can I do for you Arora?"
Arora was silent for a moment as she followed Gi'zeal the Obsessed deeper into the forest.
"I made contact with one of the mortals today. A Feyeath called Ajax. He was fishing, trying to provide for his pregnant wife when his boat was destroyed in the storm. I saved him from drowning."
Gi'zeal took a glance over his shoulder and continued leading Arora away from the pair he had been watching.
"....Interesting. Not much to do with me but seems everything worked out for the best. So why did you come here?"
His grin widening Gi'zeal asked "Want me to do the delivery?"
"In a manner of speaking." Arora said, returning the grin. "I want to make this child into a demi-god."
Feigning disintrest Gi'zeal walked on a bit.
"A beacon of Love and Peace I'm sure... Not really my cup of tea."
Arora quickened her pace.
"A very powerful, influential beacon of Love and Peace. One which would ride at the forefront of its people for generations."
She jogged around to stand directly in front of the other god, blocking his path.
"But it's too risky to attempt alone."
Halting, Gi'zeal now began to slightly melodramatically consider the offer. "I'm sure it is, such a powerful act, if something went wrong the implications for the mother and child... Well it doesn't bear thinking about. But why would I want these people under a single head? Two heads are better than one, and five constantly trying to outdo the four are better still. It's through competition that people are at their best. What could they possibly strive for with a great glowing idol in their midst??
"What could they strive for without one?" Arora retorted earnestly. "An extra fruit in the basket? The latest design in stone tools? Marriage to the cute girl two huts over? Sounds terribly exciting for the likes of you, I'm sure, but what if they could strive for more? Throw a demi-god into the mix, no matter what its intentions may be, and they would grow beyond such petty concerns."
Arora moved in closer, jabbing Gi'zeal in the chest with her finger.
"YOU want them to strive for greatness. I want them to strive for greatness under the influence of someone who will not bind them in tyranny as my people were bound. We are at one of those rare moments, it seems, where we want the same thing. So... Will you help me?"
Gi'zeal paused, the finger still stabbed into him, not quite ready to give in.
"You make a compelling point. A land without tyranny. These island people would no doubt thrive under such conditions. So long as your champion kept to them. Very nice for them, but if I help you like this,? he brushed her hand away ?I want something in return?
"Of course you do..." Arora muttered, rolling her eyes. "Go on then, I'm listening."
"I want a city built in my name."
Gi'zeal ignored the eye roll, moving into large expansive gestures drawing his vison of the future.
"These mortals can live how they want and worship who they want; if we succeed, follow your demigod into a bright future, and if we fail, claw their way out of the stone age just like any others. All I want is a fertile piece of coast, right on the trade winds with a bustling city and my name on it."
Arora gave this proposal some consideration.
"And what, exactly, would be my role in this vision of yours?" she asked pointedly.
"Whatever you want; as I said mortals may live and worship whoever they please, but you and this demi-god make sure that 'The City of Gi'zeal' is born in this land without tyranny.?
The Heartfire nodded, confident that she understood what Gi'zeal was asking of her. It seemed like a fair trade.
"You want me to put this city of yours on my agenda?"
"Exactly; a city for a demigod. This is a bargain from your perspective."
Another brief pause as she considered the proposal. With her mind made up, Arora voiced her decision.
"I can do that, yes. So..." she extended her hand "Do we have a deal?"
Gi'zeal shook her hand, his grin returning. "We have a deal, I guess I'll just have to trust you to hold up your end."
"You needn't worry." Arora released his hand.
"Let's go."

Arora - 23/30 AP, 2 MP - Ajax and Felissa's Cave

Ajax was already in a state of panic when the pair arrived, Felissa having recently lost consciousness. This was only worsened when he saw the strange Arora lady, this time with another man who also bore the appearance of a deformed Nirn.
"What's... Who...?" he stammered.
"Calm down, Ajax." Arora said. "We're here to help."
With no real alternative in sight, Ajax gave in and stood aside so that the two gods could approach the pregnant woman.
"Ready?" Arora asked Gi'zeal.

15 DC: raise the child inside Felissa to the power of a demi-god with a +2 domain of Courage (here defined basically as a love/leadership amalgam). I imagine him or her having an knack for inspiring others, as well an innate 'superstrength' fueled by his or her courage.
Expecting assistance from Gi'zeal.

Note: since this child is not born yet, GM may also decide their gender if the action succeeds. Just for fun.

Gi'zeal - 25/30AP, 2MP - The Lucent Reef, (Ajax and Felissa's Cave)

"Ready"

Gi'zeal stepped up feeling the pure drive for survival coming off the tiny parasite within the woman, almost drowning out Ajax's fear for his wife. He gave the Feyeath a reassuring smile.

"don't worry everything's probably going to be fine."

Then he and the love goddess took their positions either side of the unconscious Felissa, placing their hands on her swollen belly, Arora carefully so as not to cause alarm, Gi'zeal hastily, it was clear that the child would not give them much time. The air heated as energy flowed from the two gods into the unborn child, great swirls of light flew around the cave spinning in wide orbits around the concentrated energy at its center.
Felissa's back arched as she was lifted bodily into the air by the power growing within her. Power drawn from the love between Husband and wife, between mother and child, between those of the same race and that shared between all living breathing lifeforms, Power drawn from every living things drive to live, the driving force of every gene pushing it's way down an unbroken line of ancestors, from the lust of conception to a parent's desire for vicarious immortality.
Felissa's limbs shook and her skin rippled as if reeling from dozens of internal kicks. Gi'zeal felt Arora shape the life inside directing the flow of godly power, granting it a life superior to anything a Feyeath had ever possessed.
The mother cried out in pain awaking to the chaos around her, within her. Gi'zeal brought Ajax's fear to a paralyzing crescendo to stop him reaching out to his wife.
The lights were swirling faster and brighter now taking on all range of colors from shining golden to deep glowing blue. They formed currents from those in the cave flowing from them like waterfalls into the convulsing child that held Felissa suspended in the air.

As Arora twisted the energies and shaped her champion Gi'zeal added his own harmony to her notes. Placing wants where she placed blessings and envy where she placed inspiration. Desires and fears that would fill the soon-born demigod and those around them for the rest of their unnatural existence.

15 DC - assist Arora in creating a demigod as specified above and try to influence them so that they will desire but never be satisfied with the happiness and adoration of those under their care, and so that all mortals around them strive in vain to achieve their greatness

Taumel - 29/30ap,2MP - Lucent Reef

Taumel had succeeded in turning this Feyeath into a natural leader. After prodding through her mind she knew the mortal was named Avaline, and it was a good enough name as any for a future queen. Taumel followed Avaline around or kept an eye on her whenever she had other business to attend too. Before long, Avaline had united most of the Feyeath on the central island towards a central goal. They would no longer be a leaderless tribe with frail allegiances. They would try to be as one, and strive together to achieve more than they could alone.

Avaline broke a fruit in half and used it to paint her face in a specific pattern. Taumel watched as the other Feyeath painted their faces in the same pattern, using what they could find as colour. She felt pride that these mortals would now work together instead of remaining seperate in the dirt. It was a welcome happiness that she'd done some good in this world's future.

Unfortunately, it didn't last particularly long. Taumel felt a surge of energy from another part of the reef, saw visions of what was currently going on and when she realized what Arora was trying to do she was angered. Taumel's tentacles reacted on their own, grabbing a nearby animal and tore it apart above her head. She was showered in blood, but quickly removed it. However, she hesitated while cleaning herself and decided to keep the blood splatter on her face in the same pattern that Avaline had.

"Oh, this impudent woman wants a war." Taumel said to herself.

Never had mortals been able to live together under two different ideals, two different leaders. Arora's action meant to undo Taumel's vision for their future, and plunge them into darkness. She could see that. However, it was the clear disrespect that truly angered Taumel. She didn't really care for the mortals herself. Taumel hadn't been consulted or asked for help, which she may have provided if given the option. It was too late for that now.

Taumel sought out Avaline to tell her the news of an unborn baby that may come to challenge her rule, but before she approached the leader she sent her own powers out to the unborn.
