all he would have to do is take a leather jacket and cut off the arm...might look a bit odd though

unless he's talking about mad max 1...

I dont know if wearing black leather in the Autralian outback is such a great Idea anyway

But black leather goes anywhere! A little bit of heat never killed anyone. At least no one's complained of being killed by it...
because their dead...

back on topic (before we derail further) If I were in the wasteland post-apocalyptic style I'd avoid men...and probably everyone

Noooooooooooooooo, I mean Mad Max. I didn't realize that was Mel Gibson because, well, I've never seen a Mad Max movie.
Yeah Mel Gibson is Mad Max.

In his younger years anyway, doubt he'd be able to pull off the look now.

And yeah i've heard people do some insane shit in the name of jealousy. It's just never really been my thing.

At the end of the day, if she was to do anything behind my back, being a raging fethwipe won't exactly make it any better.

Plus my wifes friends are decent enough blokes so as long as they make sure she gets home safe after a night out I have no reason to cause them physical agony :)

I didn't really realize it was something people even really pay attention to to be honest. I guess my girlfriend hangs with most guys I never really thought much of it.

A woman that hangs out with mostly men?

OMG, society is doomed! Quick, start the shaming!

...

Seriously, I don't see how this can be an issue at all.

Fethwipe??

But that statement does make me realize, if she'd actually go ahead and do anything then that's the real issue and a problem with the relationship. Which is probably what the controlling jealous people don't get.
That's the thing, if she's going to cheat being a jealous arsehole won't change anything. Obviously she isn't happy in the relationship in which case I didn't treat her right or she just wants what I can't give her.

But jealous is one thing i've never been able to do.

It's not that I don't care, I love my wife, it's that I don't see how getting jealous and making myself into a nut job would make things better.

And fethwipe, it's from the Gaunts Ghosts books, feth is the replacement for fuck on Tanith. Much like Frack in Battlestar Galactica.

I've read the Gaunt books a ton of times and feth just kind of stuck with me.

As a girl who hangs out more with guys than girls by a significant amount, I would say that I don't really think much of it. I mean, sure, there are some types of girls who do that who claim it's because they fit in better with guys than with girls but in the end just want to sleep with the guys. But then there are girls like myself who just honestly /DON'T/ fit in with many other girls.

Most girls I know want to talk gossip and shop and make themselves look good and go tanning. I'd rather hang out with guys, who would rather gossip about game news, shop for games, and play/talk about pokemon for more hours than is probably healthy.

*shrug* But that's just me.

I've found myself using Feth instead of Fuck a lot lately.... to the extent that a few days I said "Feth it... err... grrr. Fuck it.... oh... " and then realised I was subconsciously using a non swear cos my stepson was right next to me.

On Topic Time!

Pretty much any nerdy girl ends up hanging out mostly with guys, it's a sad fact that our hobbies are primarily male orientated.

The saddest part is that, with how many of our "fellow nerds" treat females who are involved, or try to become involved, its likely to stay that way.

In high school I hung out with mostly girls because thats how stuff ended up and I was until later that I even noticed and it was more of an "huh, oh yer" sort of thing.

Your friends with people you enjoy spending time with and have common ground with. Gender tends not to play into that really. Saying that it is probably good to have friends of both genders, even if its just so that you have different perspectives on things

same for guys. Whats your opinion on a guys friends being mainly female.
He's either gay or a really slick guy. Usually its the former, occassionally its the latter.
Actually, psychology students tend to be predominantly female, so in the current course I am in, if you are a male chances are that a lot of your university-friends are female.

OT: A female with a lot of male friends ... I'd think that either the guys don't care that she's female, or she's dated one of them at some point (temporarily) and just became good friends with them so that she stayed after the break-up, or she's stringing them along (so either, her sex is not a thing, her sex is/was a thing, but not everything, her sex is everything, yeah, how do you like that? I picked options from the entire range!!! Mwhahaha!)

I always hung out with guys over girls,
why?

Most of the girls I knew were only interested in boybands getting laid and fashion

I was into games music and beer... so were the guys!

Being a man, I like hanging around women. I don't get along with them any better than men, but I prefer their company.

My ex girlfriend, however, was jealous of me doing that. Anytime a woman talked to me about something, my ex would run off and cry because she did not trust me. It did not matter that I was with her, was with her for 11 years, everytime I talked to a woman she did the same thing.

I confronted her about it one time and I did not hear the end of it for a week. It did not matter if the girl was an old friend from my childhood, my cousin, not interested in men in general, or if I don't like her to begin with, my ex would do the same thing.

Then she found a younger version of me and dumped me for him, so I wonder who wanted to cheat first.

Depends, some girls/guys hang out with the other because of interests. I have heard people say "Guys/girls can never be best friends with the opposite sex!" and I sort of agree and disagree. Some people can take it and some cannot - the most important and yet difficult thing to do is be aware of the issue, think long and hard before facing it with that BFF of yours.

The straight answer for me is: Yes. Although it will be difficult for the girl to find a date among those guys depending on her behavior.
