I have not been properly picked on for a while, but you need the right attitude. The more defensive you are, the more likely people are to pick on you.

I was always the weird kid in the schools, but I managed to hang out with the cool kids. After high school and such I found out I wasn't picked on because of my slightly insane manner.

And because I broke a guy's finger deliberately.

I guess violence does solve a lot of things, and I do believe that if bullies are shown enough physical persuasion, they will back down, because at heart, they're cowards.

I was picked on in High School o.o generally by older kids though ... the good thing about Japanese and American High Schools is that you have Junior and senior highschool. So the height and age difference isn't so bad.

In Aussie schools high school starts at 7 and goes through to 12 ... so when you first get into highschool ... you stand up to bullies ... and look them straight in the knee cap ... defiant ... David Vs. Goliath stuff ... and you get the shit kicked out of you.

But In Australia, bullying is a rite of passage ... you get beaten up for 2-3 years ... and you're a better, tougher person for it :p Well .. that's the rationale of it.

I've never been picked on but I used to be a bully when I was about 11 D=

I'm ashamed of it but I'm really good friends with a couple of the girls I used to target. I hope my other victims can't remember it!

Suprisingly, I've never been picked probably because I'm tall. If I ever got the impression that someone was trying to pick on me I'd do it right back with a witty retort, usually about their intelligence.

Knowing that this is a gaming website I am sure some of us have been picked on.
That's a pretty bad stereotype. And does that mean we can't have bullies who play games?

When person made fun of me in fifth grade.

My response was "Are you picking on me just because your sad that your mom's an alcoholic and your neighbor molested you?"

I was never picked on again, no kidding.

There was this guy, very strange guy, who kept biting me.. like pretty damn hard. Yeah, biting, weird, anyway, over the time of about 3 days he bit me and he left marks, so I kicked him as hard as I could in the balls and stamped on him on the floor.

Yeah I know, then he got up and punched me round the face, my tooth went through my cheek, but I couldn't feel anything. He was crying, I was bleeding like crazy, take your vote on who won that... endeavour.

This one fellow who went by the name Reid just wouldn't let up with the torrent of taunts, epithets, names, and swears.

When he called me a ******, I broke his nose.

This happened in elementary school, by the way.

I've never really had any trouble as I've been a fairly popular dude since like year 5. Only two times I've had a problem of sorts was in year 7 getting beat up by the big kids at the back of the bus, but they beat everyone in year 7 up, so I wasn't really being picked on and it's actually quite funny in retrospect.

As for the second time, in secondary school I decided to grow my hair long, which was cool beans because like I said, I never had a problem with anyone. Although briefly, when I was in year 11, afew chavs who didn't know me in year 10 tried to start because they thought I was a hippie or something, so one of them starts on me thinking I'm gunna be all like scared and shit, so I slap him about about, throw him on floor and he gets real shaken up saying stuff like 'Mate, I was just joking wtf?!', then they got scared and ran off with their aunt and uncle in Bel Air.

But yea, I've always been well liked and scary looking so never got much trouble, although growing your hair is a sure fire way to get some randomers start.

I was picked on quite a lot when I was a little kid. About 20 years ago, when I was in primary school, I wasn't all that popular, I was the weird kid who knew too much. I had friends alright, but the "cool kids" didn't like me. Anyhow, They grew out of it by the time they hit 13. After that I was more respected, not dismayed for my geekynes.

I did verbally bash them whenever I had the chance. That was enough of revenge. To be honest, I was never bullied seriously, just somewhat looked down on. IT all changed when I suddenly grew 7 inches taller and a beard.
