Knowing that this is a gaming website I am sure some of us have been picked on. If you want to share stories you can. Here is mine. I have been picked on since elementary school I graduated high school back in 2006. One person in high school (Petoskey High School) I remember is Jason Smith. He picked on me constantly.
I don't remember any names anymore short of the one person who literally tried to kill me (pushed me out of a tree house that hung over a hill and I only survived the fall because I hit a fallen decayed tree).

But on an interesting side note I was apparently getting so depressed in junior high that my heart beat was slowing. My doctor at the time told me that I had to either cheer up/work out or risk dying.

Took Tae Kwon Do, almost immediately word spread that I was "a black belt with deadly hands and feet" (I don't know who spread it, I had only told a few friends I had even started, I was only a white belt when this news spread). After that happened nobody ever harassed me again, apparently most folks thought I was able to kill them and overall my life after that was pretty good minus some drama with ladies.

So I guess the moral of the story is that appearing powerful is just as good as being powerful :).

LMAO. At my school, the real gamers are definitely the coolest and smartest people, even if no1 else notices. But no1 fucks with them. They are all strong minded and an insult would only get you a punch in the face. The people picked on around here are generally the stupid people. Or occasionally, a certain clique will try to gang up on a member of another. (like a class full of rednecks may bully one goth kid) Though for the most part, members of most parties tend to get along. its not usually associated to a certain place in society.
I myself have never really been bullied. Especially lately. If some one gives me a funny look, I dont respond too nicely anymore. I dont put up with those sorts of people.

Someone opened their mouth to me once in ninth grade. I picked him up by his hair, threw him over the desk, and decked him in the face while he was on the ground. Everyone just stared in stunned amazement. Guess they figured we'd do that stupid shit that preppies do where you meet someone to fight. Quite frankly, I'm not risking getting jumped or attacked with a weapon because I'm afraid of getting suspended and met you in the parking lot. Right here, right now *****.

He who throws the first punch has an automatic advantage.

Tip: Some schools cut suspension time if you say they made fun of you. They therefore provoked you and all that. I should have been out of school for two weeks and was out one. It helps when your mom is a teacher cuz you know the rules! :)

Just about everyone until I got big enough to just punch the next bully in the damn nose. The funny thing is that I got picked on for my best feature, by huge blue eyes. When I was a kid I got picked on because my eyes were not proportional to the size of my child body. Essentially I had near grown up sized eyes in the head of a kid. I hated it until I got older and figured out women love them.

I was picked on throughout most of my elementary years and a bit in junior high probably because I was always heavier than the other kids, but since then I got bigger and taller, so even though I may be heavy now, I am also a bit threatening. Not overtly so, but enough to not get crap. Besides, I had my revenge on the playground when I catapulted my fellow students off of the see-saw.

I've been picked on my whole life, even now, for the smallest things. To many to mention...

I made a lot of friends of the big and strong sporty type which meant I've never had any real problems with bullying. I actually help out kids with bullying problems at the moment in school (partly so it looks good on my UCAS application though but still its nice to help).

So my advice if your being bullied is to either get into sports and make friends with the nice and strong kids so they can back off any dicks or go and hit one of them with a chair.

Alot of people have tried. I can take a bit of verbal abuse in good humour. It's when people get in my face to look cool infront of their peers that I get annoyed. I hit a guy with a door, swung another guys head into another door. My favourite was a baseball bouncing off the skull of someone who tried to bully me, he stumbled around for a good minute...before dropping like a sack of crap.

I got bullied in elementray and junior high school by the most popular guy in school I couldn't fight back because he was the strongest and fought dirty whenever I made a friend he turned them agianst me and it never ended until the eighth grade when he got both of his legs broken by a speeding car. The last time I heard of him he is in a wheelchair and repeating the eighth grade.

Funny story about this anyway, I did have one bully always teasing me, but Karma got to him.

One day in class one kid was having trouble so I helped him. Long story short, I helped him get a B instead of a D. The kid I helped wanted to be my friend so I said sure. Little did I know he was part of a gang and when he found out one kid was picking on me, he decided repay his debt to me.

By lunch time, the kid who bullied me was found in the parking lot with both his legs and arms broken. He was rushed to the hospital. Of course I didn't know what was going on and they question me on it and said that I would tell them, but I said nothing. I told them I knew nothing and I didn't really know him. He just picked on me every now and then.

After I was questioned they let me go and continue the investigation until my friend who I helped get a good grade came up to me and said "You know that kid that kept picking on you?" I said "Yeah?" He said "You don't have to worry about him about him anymore. Thanks for helping me pass." I said no problem and that was when I knew what happened.

Moral of the Story: Make friends with anyone you can because you never know who or what they are and what they can do for you.

I was bullied a lot in elementary school. Just before junior high, I was ready to snap; my parents fortunately pulled me out in time, getting me to homeschool. Still, I was very hateful and untrusting until late highschool, when I was finally convinced by my parents to forgive the bullies of my past, even if I didn't feel like it. When I did, it was like a great weight lifted from my shoulders. I have never held a grudge ever since.

That's a pretty bad stereotype. And does that mean we can't have bullies who play games?
People have posted on different threads they were picked on. I am not saying everyone here has been picked on. Just some people. Bullies play games too. I just choose not to play with them.

Just one jerk who was likely jealous of me being friggin smart, just kept picking on me.
EDIT: I am actually pretty free of any of that crap. I've always wanted someone provoked enough to chase me so I could just outrun them, just out of boredom, and no-one ever wants to race me.

The best way to prevent bullying - Learn karate, go to gym. People don't want to fight someone that can do a 360' roundhouse kick, lift 40 kg with little effort and be able to throw someone of your own weight at the wall.
Gun violence is not the answer.

Melee violence is.
It's a little ironic that you chose that picture, when Indy then shoots the guy.

On my part though, I was bullied a lot, throughout primary all the way to high school. I managed to avoid most of the fights however, by fighting as dirty as possible. Biting, stabbing with a compass on one occasion, like one of the previous posters, and on a couple of occasions, hitting people with chairs.
Once people see thatm as different as you are, you're not bound by their pathetic system of heirarchy and ways of fighting, they tend to leave you alone. I had a small, close-knit circle of friends to keep me going as well.

I still feel scarred by those times though. I've developed a tic of sorts to deal with it. Whenever my thoughts go back to anywhere near my childhood I'd rather forget, or be embarassed by, I tend to unconsciously start mouthing violence-related words, like "kill" over and over again.
Yeah, I'm just a little messed up by all this. Which is why it tears me up that people can be such callous dicks.
People can be dicks. My weight was the primary reason I got made fun of. I feel like I want to kill the people who wronged me as well so you are not the only one. I will never forgive them and if I do meet Jason Smith again I can be pretty sure the end result will be me with blood on my hands.
Man get this i'm asian and was fat. If i see half of those people that picked on me well just say hi to me on the 7 pm news.

On a very different note I can't believe this thread re-surfaced after seven months.

I've always been bullied and since I'm still school aged I am still constantly bullied. Granted it is caused by me just having to vocalize that "Little Wayne and Jay-Z are not muscisians or artists they are dipshits with no knowledge of music." OR maybe it's me only having 15 people out of 900 who will talk with me...

EDIT: 250th Post time for a sexy party!
