Because the left lane is the faster lane, as in you're driving faster than the person to the right of you. Driving the same or slower speed as everyone else is the #1 cause of traffic (at least from what I've seen). If people that drove only the speed limit or lower stayed out of the left lane, traffic on I-4 (major highway that I drive on in Florida) would be so much better.Vegosiux said:

- People who cut across two lanes of traffic in less than a second.

Oh, Florida, eh? I live on the West Coast and in my county, I don't dare hop in the left lane. Cops will pull you over for going 1/2 a mile over the speed limit, going through a yellow light, making a right hand turn on a red light ANYWHERE, it's just so strict. -In general, just anyone who is an elitist, in any way egocentric, or just someone enjoys making other people miserable for their own entertainment.

Wow, really? Damn, I drive on I-4, and people will drive past FHP at +18 and they won't do a damn thing. Its mostly because they have been told that pulling over someone without a really serious cause (drunken driving, 25+ over speed limit, driving in the emergency lane, etc) can cause them to get in trouble (rubberneckers is the #3 cause of traffic on I-4). Heck, even having the cop car parked on the side of the road can get them in trouble.DrgoFx said:
