I haven't the faintest idea as to either one. I suppose it would vary from time to time...who says Hell isn't exciting, right?

watch for each moment all the things people can do to destroy themselves never being able to shut out the cries of the toruted and mauled. seeing every act of agression someone can do to another. seeing and feeling the death of each living thing and eduring the death screams of everyone to have fallen and not gotten back up. to feel the pains of the raped, burned and hurt. to never ever be able to shut those feelings out. feel every ones hidden vices and sorrows. long story short. anything that sucks, never ever being able to feel anything other than that.

being unable to move, and forced to watch my loved ones be raped and tortured, and I would be unable to help them in any way.

I find the actual hell as described by litterature to be pretty damn frightening. Burning, choking and being sliced up for an eternity is kind of hard to improve on. I suppose if your body didn't work as it's supposed to and adrenaline couldn't be released, no reduction of pain over time, mental blocking of pain, no passing out etc.

The popular vision of hell has been refined over centuries to be as horrible as possible, who am I to argue?

The thread made me think about it and gave me a pretty good idea, but I don't feel like posting it. Ugh, it'd be horrible.

What I mean is your own hell. If you would want to have an exciting hell then your hell couldn't be exciting. When you die I'm gonna laugh at you! (Of course if you hate excitement then your hell would be exciting. *shudder* LOGIC BOMB!

well since theoretically we would be dead, therefore after about 10 or so years down the line, pain would be meaningless in our view after suffering constantly for that ammount of time (due to the fact there is no physical damnage capable of rendering you dead completely, therefore pain is pointless) and therefore the pain argument is out. you can become accustom to nothingness and annoyances so that idea is out of the question, so generally is there any real torture for all eternity, that you would suffer from indefenently?

or have i thought to much about this yet again.

That's what I meant-- I don't hate, fear, or despise anything in particular, so I imagine Hell would change according to my mood...and the same with Heaven.

Being in a library filled with every book ever written, without my glasses. (Cookie for reference.)
That or Chinese water torture, that thing is sadistic.

Why does that very thought fill me with fear...?

Of course, a silly putty Heaven does sound enjoyable...

To be trapped in a tiny white room with incredibly powerful lights covering every section of wall. The lights would blink and flash randomly with no sequence that would determine the flashes. Also a hideous cacophony of unexplainable sounds to be going on indefinitely. A large axe would continuously swing above my head and would appear to be coming closer to killing me though it never does.

Or just that bit in that horror novel where that man is being punished by the Spanish inquisition and has a large pendulum swing above him slowly falling and nearly killing him in his dark prison. Anyone who can name the writer of that gets a very nice Cake.

Sitting in a room with a screaming kid and obnoxious people for the rest of eternity, and me not being able to do a damn thing about it.
