I read the petition out to my brother and we bothed pissed ourselved laughing as I tried to read the description of the game mode.
It's a little tasteless yes but thats what makes it hilarious satire of the 80's. I can't wait to play it. Poeple need to depolitically correctasise.
Man the future scares me....

You.... you have just won the game. Sign me up!

OT- If you don't like it don't buy it for yourself or your kids. BAM problem solved.

Yeah, it would be the first petition based on logic :D

Seriously though, with all the horrible sadistic shit on television, movies and in songs, this is fucking nothing. I wish I could ask these people about that, but I bet they would say it's because video games cause violence and other shit, even though they don't have PERFECT EVIDENCE!

Babe-slapping mode sounds absolutely hilarious. I'm actually thinking of getting it for the sake of playing it my friends.

Sheesh, woman's rights people. ALWAYS focusing on video games.

There are thousands of books against feminism, got complain about that.

So silly.

Of course it's completely okay to have visceral combat, but showing a female nipple?
That's just wrong.

Like Duke Nukem is supposed to be taken seriously in the first place. Honestly, the mainstream media is reading far too much into this.

Also, were any of the people raising a fuss about this going to even buy/play the game in the first place? No? Then they shouldn't even be commenting.

I may be wrong, but I believe modern consoles come with the amazing and powerful Parental Controls menu where one can set the maximum rating of the games that are played. The whole "games are corrupting the youth" thing rings a little hollow when the "evil game corporations" are giving them the exact controls necessary to prevent such "corruption".

...Also... Anyone who takes Duke Nukem that seriously is already beyond all hope.

I live in the UK so if it doesn't get sold in Walmart it doesn't affect me at all (unless they pull it from Asda[Asda is a subsidiary of Walmart])

ASS-SLAP
NOT FACE
there is a huge difference in both the location and magnitude of the slap that separates sexy from abuse

Christ it isn?t that bad. Duke Nukem is practically a parody of all those old shitty action movies. It isn?t serious and it is meant to over the top, stupid, immature and not realistic at all. It not like he is going to beat the crap out of them and he isn?t raping woman. The whole thing with Duke Nuken is that he loves the ladies and the ladies love him because he so friking badass. If they reversed the genders would this sort of thing be okay? Do we really have to make everything politically correct and sanitised?
No offense, but if someone is on this site, they already know that.

all that FOX News is doing is making everyone want to play Duke Nukem Forever that much more, maybe even introducing it to would be players who were unaware of him.
I've been wondering about this. Every time they start a campaign of slander and outrage against a videogame, all it seems to do is give that game free publicity. I'm starting to wonder if a few of the higher-ups at Fox are actually doing this intentionally; using the tools of evil for good. Kind of like the Colbert Report, but played straight.

Let's be honest here though, if Duke Nukem wasn't making FOX go crazy I'd be concerned about the quality of the game.
